5+ stars for the treatment by Oleg, an incredibly skilled and intuitive masseuse. You know the second he touches you that he knows what he’s doing. I felt truly well when the treatment was completed. Afterward you are offered a freshly prepared ginger tea, a glass of water and the most delicious healthful cookie. 5 stars for Marjorie the spa manager who showed me personalized caring service. Barely 4 stars for the locker room and waiting room facilities. Come for the treatment, not the before and after waiting and locker area.

The pool area is beautiful and very relaxing. The massage I had was incredible with the door open and the sound of the ocean in the background. The facial was good also. The spa is quite expensive but I would say worth the money and similar to others in the area in terms of price.

Chose there because we knew the Como Turks&Caicos and had great expectation. Very charming building with big, bright rooms, very comfortable bathrooms. The breakfast at that period was poor 'but complimentary', they said, because the restaurant was not accessible and it was served in the lobby area... terraces' pools areas are worn, old-fashioned, unpleasant. The steam bath smelled bad. The service on the big pool was unevenly given (sometimes good), the beds broken and stained (the service again: way don't you clean that ketchup drop jeez!)

Visiting Miami for the first time and the staff at the metropolitan by Como was top notch! Any and all of our needs were more than taken care of. Plenty of healthy options on the menu and great facilities overall. Happy we stayed at the metropolitan by Como! Thanks Joe and everyone at the met for the great drinks and service!

I enjoyed my facial tremendously and the esthetician Fresia was great. Hands down a remarkable experience, and one I should have ended my spa time at. The pedicure that I added on was a big disappointment. The color change amd manicure for my husband also not what I would expect at a hotel spa of this caliber. An issue with the card on file prompted the spa manager to contact the hotel manager that felt it necessary to deal with a day before checkout and delay us in arriving to a prepaid tour. After I had my time at the spa (and thinking I might skip out on my bill I guess because of credit card alerts asking for permission prior to the charge going through) the spa manager just walked past me without even a hello. Up to that point I was very happy with my stay however now I recognize every imperfection in the property, extreme parking inconvenience and am wondering why a prepaid room requires a $1000 deposit? I was thinking of coming back but probably not. Dont waste money on the nail treatments. Not worth any of the money spent.
