This place is great if you are a 20th century history and memorabilia nerd as I am. Liking vintage cars is a definite bonus. The place isn't big, but there is so much crammed into every square foot seeing it all can take the afternoon. When my wife and I got there I thought we would be in and out... More

I visit this wonderful place about three times a year. Seven Thousand square feet of automotive history and art! Kerry and Cindy respect the cars and share both enthusiasm and knowledge with all those who enter.

An excellent collection of cars! Speed, class, family and utility vehicles. Ambulances, hearses and woodies! The memorabilia surrounding the cars are tremendous. The entire building is a history lesson. The cars are rare and in absolutely exquisite condition. Both domestic and international cars. This museum is wonderful for father/sons and for husband/wives. I can not say enough about this collection.... More

Thank you 'tomoschner' for your kind words and the 5-star rating! There have been a few times when we get folks that come-in expecting 'The Imperial Palace' in Las Vegas.... that, we are not. It makes you wonder if they are having a 'bad hair day' or, more likely, they probably have never built their own business. Therefore, it's especially... More

If you are a real car person, the $15 admission is going to irritate you. And the disinterested person at the ticket booth is going to frustrate you even more. Lots more collectables than cars really. If money is no worry see it. Or if so go have some dinner in Mount Dora which seems to have more good restaurants... More

First of all, Thank You for the 5-Star Review.....though, we are a bit confused by your observations ! I think the vast majority of the reviews posted here will show that due to the fact we Love What We Do (unique cars & antiques), it's been ultra-easy for us to be cordial and show everyone a great time. Naturally, there... More

We loved visiting this museum. The owners have collected so much memorabilia in addition to the vehicles it was a delight to spend time here and remind ourselves of years gone by. I have a lot of respect for them for the time and effort they have put in to this small space that makes it well worth a visit... More

Mike & Linda; Thank you for your great 5-Star review. We kinda like that 1969 Z-28 ourselves! :) I'm sorry I couldn't spend more time with you, as I was trapped in my office desperately trying to get a transport co. to pick up a car before Thanksgiving. I'm sorry if my wife 'overwhelmed you' with her enthusiasm for England,... More

We found details of a small car museum about 40 minutes from Orlando in a place called Mount Dora so decided to pay a visit to the Museum of Speed. However, after paying our $15 each admission fee, we were told we could not take big bags in, nor could my husband take his big camera. This was a bit... More

Thank you 'travllop' for your Top Review. We are glad you enjoyed the Museum, in your journey from Canada. It's always a good idea to read the 'features' of a business on TA before visiting. If you did, you would have read, we no longer allow Big Camera's, after suffering damage to 3 expensive Classic Cars by care less handling.... More

Although it's not a very big place, it is loaded from wall to wall and ceiling to floor. Look in the corners, look at the ceiling, everywhere you look there is something interesting to see. Old signs, televisions, caskets, dolls, much miscellaneous, and, of course, the cars. Many things have written signs providing background information about the items. The owners... More

We stopped by Saturday to the, Mount Dora's Museum of Speed. What a great time we had seeing this collection of cars, rock and roll memorabilia and other vintage nostalgic memorabilia meticulously displayed in a 7,000 square foot Art Deco building surrounded by huge shady oak trees. Just as enjoyable as getting a private tour of Kerry Bogard’s "grown man... More

I always look forward to visiting Kerry and Cynthia and the wonderful cars and displays here. I have been there at least six times in the last year. Wonderful, knowledgeable people and something new to see each visit. My favorite (1935 Airflow) keeps calling out to me!

'RobertF' Thanks so much for your 5-Star Review! We keep trying to 'change it up' here so, there's something new to see each time folks come back.
