The museum is down an alley but not far off the beaten path. The woman working at the museum opened just for us and was very helpful. Learned a lot about Mt. Dora and had fun taking photos in the old jail cells.

Enjoyed my visit to this museum on a rainy afternoon, It's very small but the guide made it so very interesting. She provided me more history than anyone could store in this little place. So very pleasant.

This is a small local museum that is well worth two bucks and 20 to 30 minutes of your time. This is a quick way to learn a bit about town. When I walked into the jail cells it was hard to imagine being locked...More

It was worth the visit. The charge is only $2.00 per person, $1.00 for children and it was an interesting display of old photographs and artefacts and of a short history of the Mount Dora settlement. It also has a jail. Very interesting and 30...More

This museum gives you a good history lesson on Mount Dora. The person working there had a lot of information to share with us. It doesn't take long to walk through and it cost two dollars a person.
