Great Small Town Park

Great Hammock Oaks and Cypress Trees. Peaceful Boardwalk on the water. You will see such a variety of wildlife activity. Plenty of boat docks and boardwalks.

Checking in was a breeze, ranger was most informative and even though this campground has only 15 sites it is a honey. Bath house was very clean and operational. Our site was within 40 feet of the lake. Bring bug repellent (remember this is Florida and you are surrounded by lakes) there is a reason why Floridians call the mosquito... More

This is a nice Orange County park. We camped one night. The playgrounds are great, but slightly dated. It has beautiful trees and the other section of the park across the street is very nice, too. If you are camping, you should know that the sites are pretty tight and you will definitely get to know your neighbors because they... More

This is definitely the best kept secret in Central Florida. This park is awesome. It reminds of the parks we have in North Florida where the pace of development is not as rapid as in this place and therefore more pristine. I really hope it stays this way for a long time.

Trimble Park has a wonderful lakeshore boardwalk to observe the unique birds of this beautiful habitat as well as the scenic sunsets! The boardwalk goes over the water about 25 feet from shoreline of bald cypress, then winds back into the woods on a sandy trail under a canopy of cabbage palms.

This is just a short distance from downtown Mount Dora and is one of the bike rides on the annual Mount Dora Bike festival (11 miles, Pink Triangle).

This is a beautiful southern park. The live oaks and cypress trees are impressive. It has a large children's playground and a boardwalk into the water. Turn off your phones and enjoy the sounds of nature.

This is a scenic and peaceful place to walk. It has a boardwalk that goes out around Lake Dora and then you can walk on the nature trail. There are very old cypress trees to see as well as other old trees. Although you are near the water and walking among trees and palm plants we never got bit by... More

I hesitate writing this review because I'm selfish and want to keep this great park a secret. But....it's a wonderful place. It's a very small campground of 15 sites but one with the best site designs I've ever seen in a county park or most other parks. The picnic table is metal (no warped boards) and on concrete with a...
