We visited this beach in early November. $6 entrance fee, dirty bathrooms and the beach was much more nicer further south close to central Naples. Convenient showers located next to beach access paths. EK

Great state park with facilities, rentals and plenty of beach. It's about a 30+ foot deep beach with calm gulf "waves". Always spotting dolphins, stingrays, and fish in a given afternoon. Fishing and boat watching at parking lot #5 area (no swimming around the corner...More

No high rises, just nature, the beach, sea and sky and only a minute from civilisation. One of the best beaches in the area without the travel to sanibel/captiva (which are also great)

Inexpensive parking all day for a lovely beach. We enjoyed a fairly vacant beach on a Sunday in late October. Sky was partly cloudy 90 degrees. Water was refreshing. We found some unique shells and watched a variety of birds feeding. A relaxing, peaceful day!

This is state park is a great location to visit the beach; offering outdoor grills, restrooms, parking, and boardwalks. You have to pay $6 for a car to enter.

It's a very well maintained park and rarely not crowded unlike Vanderbilt Beach. It's clean, easily accessible and off the beaten path, mostly locals.

If you are looking for high energy, bar on the beach, and bands playing this is not the beach for you. But, if what you seek is a quiet stretch of beach with trails and shaded picnic spots which open right onto the beach, you...More
