Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I REALLY love Naples!! It's a beautiful area. But, the reason I give it a 3 rating, is because this "clean marina" does NOT have a working pump out system.
The dock workers Jake and his female side kick are FABULOUS!!! They're very helpful and kind. It's just the pump out system or lack of that bothers me. How are you supposed to keep a clean marina? Why, with ALL of Naples well fortunes, can't you get a functioning pump out system?

The Naples dock has a beautiful marina with docked yachts and boats. It was a beautiful night to stroll the docks and enjoy the waterfront.

You drive there, figure out where to park and then walk along the dock. 5 minutes later you check it off your bucket list and tell folks you've been there and it's boring. Wrong on all levels. Take the time to look at the different types of boats at the dock. some are commercial fisherman, some are charter boats (wanna catch some fish, wanna cruise on the gulf of mexico) and some are privately owned. Sit down on the benches and watch how boat boys detail the boats (polish the rigging, clean the engines, etc). If you're really brave, ask one of the Captains sitting on the dock in front of his vessel how long he's been running his fleet out of Naples. The stories you will hear are better than any movie you rent in your hotel room later. Make it a FULL, FUN day. Leave your car where you parked it (parking spots are hard to come by) and walk 5 square blocks in all 4 directions. You'll find funky shops, private streets with friendly people, a couple of restaurants off the beaten' path with everything you were trying to find. I did it, and LOVE Naples City Dock area. As a side note: Kept the kids busy, too!!

Very disappointed in the old mostly run down docks. They are under construction so hopefully the will be improved in the future. Check out the neighborhoods of the City of Naples and you might be surprised like I was with some of the blight. Very conservative city and some people even power washed their home roof advocating "Hillary for Prison 2016." Things that make you go hmmmmmm!

This is one of the places you should come to if visiting Naples. Parking is easy in the allocated plot for dock parking. A short walk brings you to the entrance and then it is like walking on water!!! The views of the boats and the water and the wild life is great. There was even a protected walkway for the Pelicans. Fantastic. The were "Caution - Manatee" signs but unfortunately we never saw any. I would imagine that your experience is different dependent on the time of day you visit. We went late afternoon and there was no sign of the fishermen. All the hose areas were clean but I can imagine earlier in the day they would be busy and fun to watch. Tourist boats appear to leave from here as many people were making their way towards one particular boat.....perhaps a sunset on the Gulf tour???!!!! There was a small deck like area with seats and tables where some people were enjoying a bite to eat, while others were simply gazing out over the water and enjoying watching all there was to see. Worth a visit and definately worth going back at different times in the day to see the full expanse of life in the City Docks.

The dock is right next to the Dock at Crayton Cove restaurant. It's not much of an attraction in the sense that you pay to enter and there are rides or special activities that were created for it. If you have little children, this would be a great place to show them what real boats look like up close and feed their imaginations. Word of caution, there are no railings to prevent you from falling into water so if you have small children, make sure you hold their hand. You will also see people taking their dogs out for a walk on the dock. This is the place where some of the fishing excursions begin from and it is an amazing place to walk the docks and see all of the yachts parked in the marina. Once you have returned from your fishing excursion, there are stations where you can clean out your fish. You also get to see some of the beautiful houses that have been built around the marina. There are a lot of Pelicans that float in the water looking for food and signs telling the sailors to be careful of manatees. I did not see a manatee, but since the signs are up I would imagine that they do come every once in a while. Also on the dock there is a seating area where you can sit on the wooden chairs and relax while you wait or if you just want to get away. Near the dock, there are some shops and art galleries that you can go see. The area is very beautiful and quiet although the restaurant tends to bring in quite a few people so parking gets full fast and there are limited parking spaces. We really enjoyed ourselves here and will be returning often.

We reserved an overnight spot here while boating across FL. It is a beautiful docking facility. Extremely clean, easy docking, wonderful and helpful dock staff, restaurants close by. We will def. be back for long weekends!

Wandered the dock after checking out of our hotel while we waited for Tin City to open. There are many boats of all budgets and sizes and walking the dog was very peaceful. There is even a little covered patio where several people brought their books to read.

Better hurry up to visit this array of boats, birds and fish because they are soon to tear it down for a 6-month re-do. That means all the interesting activity will halt for a while and you'll miss the early morning charters filling with fishermen go out and return later with their catches. Watch them clean the fish and the pelicans fight for the leftovers or the large Jacks in the water grab a lost piece. It's a pleasant place to spend time, especially since you likely came to this area to commune with the water.
