We found this to be a great area for biking, easy and level but can go ong or short, and connected to even larger paths. Good for novicesor tose looking for longer trips. Also has good playgrounds, day use and variety of Florida environment, and hiking.

We love camping. We've camped all over the country and in all kinds of campgrounds. This place is beautiful and quiet. There's some wildlife like tortoises, deer, and boar. The little kids liked the playground. Bathrooms were clean and had hot showers. We didn't have a chance to check out the learning center, but I've heard it's a great place... More

This is a large park with dirt trails for walking, mountain biking, or horseback riding. There is also a paved trail for biking that includes mile markers and some covered rest areas, however, the paved path is all uncovered and can be very warm to ride in the summer. You can tent camp or rent one of the cabins available... More

Excellent for biking and hiking, or family/event type cookouts. I have hiked about 5 miles or so of the park and came across deer, turtles, and many birds. Bike paths are outstanding for riding through beautiful scenery on paved surface in middle of woods. This is a must do!

Have gone to star gazing, camped out here, joined family for family picnics, celebrated many parties here including my sister-in-law's 40th. Most recently, participated in the... More

PLENTY of free fire wood very close to all sites. The bathrooms were immaculate with clean showers and hot water! 30 minutes from Tampa bay. Good stuff!!! The only... More

Very Nice Park and Campground.Entrance fee is $2 per car which is self pay. The Park has plenty of shelters, grills and tables for picnics. Nice well kept hiking trails. The Park has primitive and cabin camping. Also Horseback riding trails and plenty of bird watching available. Occasionally may see a deer, especially if on Horseback.
