We love going to Smyrna Dunes Park each winter while in NSB. This year at the gate where I planned to buy the annual pass I was told that since I have the handicapped parking designation there is no charge anytime I go. They said this also applies to the gate where you pay to drive on the beach. The... More

Best Boardwalk of our lives! 1.5 to 2 miles, sorrounded by beautiful nature, sand dunes and ocean views. A surprising factor was that this Park is very doggy friendly. Wear layers, especially if visiting in the early morning (cool low 60's) but then the sun heats up things and the temperature can rise up to high eighties!

We walk the boardwalk area in this park almost everyday since we have access from the condo we are staying in. It's about 1-1/2 miles on a wooden walkway which I understand they are replacing with composite wood and also are widening it. This will be a nice improvement. We see a lot of tortoises on our walks when it's... More

Dog friendly beach without cars! Well maintained park with bathrooms and dog wash. Water is calmer on the bay side and you have a nice view of ponce inlet. Can often get an up close view of turtles and manatee.

What a great place for our two dogs to walk and play in Smyrna Dunes Park (beach) is a peninsula. Dog's can not walk on the ocean side. It is free from 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Otherwise, $10 per vehicle. $20 annual inlet parks pass. You do need to keep dogs on a leash. Had a long leash, so our... More

I'm not a fan of cars and dogs on beaches. As we walked along on the boardwalk, we observed a dog doing #2 on the beach, and the owner kicked sand over it. On a positive note, the boardwalk made for a lovely walk.

Really a great place for walking and enjoying a beach location. This place is not overly crowded, or at least it wasn't the day we went. Many people bringing their dogs so obviously this is where the locals go. Quiet, serene and an untouched area makes this a very tranquil place to spend a little time at. Take your time... More
