The walkway is raised and takes you through beautiful untouched sand dunes. Once you reach the beach, it is dog paradise! Dogs play with each other, in and out of the water. Don't miss as part of your stay in New Smyna Beach!

This is a gorgeous park that is both river and oceanfront, Dogs are allowed, but must be leashed and cleaned up after. The boardwalk is open to dogs until ten and after four, but there is a nice pathway that is actually better, in my...More

This is a great part of New Smyrna Beach, especially for those who like the more natural setting. It's more secluded and private, but its a little bit of a drive down the beach from the nearest toll ramp.

A bit of a hike but worth it for the calm beaches and to let the dogs run free and romp on the beach!

We came out just before sunset with our little pup and spent a wonderful hour enjoying the beach. Super clean beach and walking paths. It is quite a walk from the car to the beach, so make sure you (and your dog) can walk a...More

Beautiful beach to sit and relax, watch people fish, go shelling, walking, boogie boarding, surfing, or drive your car on. Only one of 3 beaches in Florida you can do this. It's where the intracoastal meets the ocean, so it's calmer on one side. Brand...More

Been looking all over Florida for a beach where I could take my dog. Didn't realize how hard it would be to find one. Ten dollars to get in but only $20 for an annual pass. Definitely worth it! There's a 2 mile long, brand...More

Don't take this hike if you can't walk a mile in the hot sun. My husband and I enjoyed the hike but others might wish they had a little shade. Mostly dunes and the normal plant flora for the area. Nice view of the inlet....More

I wish all cities offered Doggie beaches like here. I even heard comments from folks who moved to FL for NC how they were surprised there weren't more available. You have a nice view of the Ponce De Leon Inlet Lighthouse while enjoying the beach...More

There is a parking lot at the dog park, but it requires a $5 admission. There is also a dog washing area, an entrance to the boardwalk, and beach and Inlet access.

Don't think you can use it. But, after 5 p.m. the park is free. If you are staying for more than 2 days and want to go with the dogs during the day. Buy the pass. You can go in and out of the park as many times during the... More
