This is a really nice beach on a dead end road...great place to come and read a book on the beach during off season. They have a new bathhouse and bathrooms...along with a great place to launch a canoe or kayak into the bay.

This beach is a hidden gem. Nice large beach. Beautiful board walks. Even a small restaurant. We saw a large turtle in the grass area.

Still the best beach. We live near Daytona, but wait to come to the beach on the Gulf side, specifically Nokomis. Love it. Not a lot of waves though, if that's what you are interested in. We do miss the shark's teeth that used to...More

We were camping at Oscar Scherer State Park for 11 days and this beach was very close to us, so we went here each night to watch the sunset. You should probably get here early because many people come here for the sunset activities. They...More

Wednesdays and Saturday. People start to show up about 2 hours before sunset but the crowd gets bigger if the weather is nice.
