Ambu Yoga ranks right there with wine sundowners on Santiva beach, which I did not miss many of either. The Ambu Yoga highlight begins with a lovely person, owner and amazing instructor, Yali. Her studio has this warm welcoming energy, just like Yali, which you...More

It was great having a yoga studio nearby on my recent trip. This was my first time doing warm yoga, so it was challenging, but it was a great class. The studio itself was really clean and peaceful.

I'm not in great shape, I'm not a Yoga Master and I not someone who is consistent with my practice but I really want to be. I have been doing yoga on and off for 15 years in all sorts of places; recreation centers, private...More

Just GO! Yali is a fantastic teacher and class was appropriate for all levels, yet challenging for advanced practitioners. Very relate-able Dharma talk and meditation.I had procrastinated about going earlier in my stay at South Seas, and should have gone sooner and wish I had...More

I took the gentle yoga class twice during our June 2016 trip to Captiva. I had not done yoga for a long time and it was such a perfect re-introduction. Yali, who is also the owner, was our instructor and she was perfect. My sister,...More

I recently took 2 classes, one of which was a "warm" class, and one a normal "flow" class. Two different instructors, both very experienced and encouraging. I do Yoga regularly at home, and while the instruction was somewhat stylistically different, Ambu is clearly well run...More

I travel a lot, which makes me a bit of a transient yoga person; which in turn makes it a bit more difficult to get my personal needs met. Well, look no further! Yali is not only adorable with great energy, she brings personal attention...More
