Checked out the bike trails at Oleta. Amazing trails where you can bike safety without the fear of any cars. They have novice to advance trails and it makes for a great day out.

This park borders a large sewage treatment plant covering the north half of the county. Sewage spills into Biscayne Bay at the park are common. Fudging on water quality tests are said to be.

I loved kayaking up to this spot. It is a little island with a beach. It was busy when I went because of the holiday. I will go back on a less busy day. Great views of Miami beach and harbor.

Perfect beach for young children! Kids can go in and out of the water as they please because it has almost no waves. The water is warm, witch I personally like, but it has the distinctive smell of mangrove. They could improve the children’s park.

I live in a building next to the park, and I don't hear any city noise. I never slept on the park cabins, but i can tell you it is very quite around here. Very peaceful.
