Awesome MacArthur Beach State Park! At the end of a loooong row of high-rise condos and hotels, MacArthur State Park is literally a breath of fresh air. We kayaked in the lagoon, lounged on the sandy beach, walked the covered ramp-ways, and learned about area's creatures and environment in the Nature Center. Staff were personable and knowledgeable. Admission and parking... More

We didn't find a ton of trails, but the boardwalk to the beach is incredible and the beach itself was spectacular - and since we were there on a week day, not crowded at all.

Don't miss the museum also. Great to bring children to. Very inexpensive to enter, membership is $40/year! Support the turtles. Kayaks and canoes for rent.

We love the park, whether we go for a picnic and use one of their grills, walk the board walk, or anchor off the beach for fishing, it's a great place to stop and smell the sea air.

I have been to the park several times and enjoyed each visit. Helpful information centre and shop. Restrooms. Plenty of parking. Long walks along the beach. Not crowded. Kayaking around the lagoon. Saw fish Eagles, storks, pelicans and Manabees.

We visited MacArthur Park on a whim and absolutely loved it. If you want to see what Florida looked like before it was covered in huge hotels and sprawling condo developments, this is your chance. The beach here is gorgeous and the wetland/mangrove areas very cool. You can kayak here, watch birds, swim, and snorkel. Totally worth a day. Plus... More

The winds died down and we wanted a quiet beach walk. this was the perfect spot to do so Walking through all the greenery and the boardwalk over the lake were very nice as well.

One of my favorite spots in the area. A great place to spend a whole day. It's been wonderful to watch this place grow over the years. Walk on the beach, swim, or paddle a kayak to see the beautiful estuary up close. If you're in the Palm Beaches, don't miss this place. Be sure to see if the nature... More
