At a temperature of 87 degrees, Warm Mineral Springs contains 9 million gallons of fresh water which replenishes itself every two hours. This natural resource is comprised of 51 minerals, which is the highest mineral content of any natural spring in the United States. The spring has been added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places partly because it is one of the most important underwater archeological sites in America. During exploratory dives in the 1950s, the remains of a prehistoric hunter and seven other humans were discovered in a very well preserved state. Similarly, evidence of several creatures have been extracted from the spring, including saber tooth tigers, giant sloths, tortoises, and even camels. Today, with a goal of increased wellness for everyone, Warm Mineral Springs offers a natural experience to residents and visitors alike who want to soak in the warm waters.

Like a picnic grounds with a pond that's supposed to have benefits to your body. Bring your own food ,just machines for snacks. Not a luxury resort.

Don't come here if you fear Russians. I was the only one here speaking English. Gently floating around the outside parameter via a natural circular current is so relaxing! Followed this by spending an hour in the middle. Mild sulfur smell is not annoying at...More

We HAD to take a dip in the fountain of youth, supposedly "discovered" by Ponce de Leon via some of his Native American guides. The water was gently warm and kind of thick to swim in. Mostly people just walk or bob along the outside...More

The suppose to be a resort is falling apart. No sign of any investment at all. $20 entrance fee looks bizarre and brings the thoughts where the money are going. If you compare this place with the real mineral resort in Glenwood Springs, Colorado where...More
