    For the outdoor lover!
Animal Kingdom is a definite must for the outdoorsy person. The tree is the most amazing part of this park! Just like all other parks, it is the center piece! My kids loved Dinoland. There was a passport program going on when we were there. My fave? A Bug’s Life! Lots to see and fall in love with!

    Not bad but not great
One of the boring-er parks of Disney. Less rides and attractions compared to MK but cost nearly the same price. Pandora rides wait time can be very long but that's something that is out of their control as we went in the summer knowing that wait times are long. Otherwise, half of the park felt like an expensive zoo.

    Beautiful park
The parks theming is beautiful. Wasn’t expecting to enjoy myself but I had a wonderful time here. The park didn’t feel busy at all. There isn’t as many thrill rides but the rides we rode we had a a lot of fun. Avatar is absolutely amazing and breathtaking when riding. The theming in this area is amazing. The safari was really interesting and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. We foolishly only went at midday but wished we had spent the day here. We will definitely return to this park

    Underrated park!
Animal Kingdom is probably my favourite park. The theme is great, it almost doesn’t feel like a theme park. Genie+ isn’t really required for this park, though they sell Lightning Lane passes on the Disney app for Avatar Flight of Passage. This was worth it for our party, as it was our favourite ride of the day! Pandora alone is worth seeing, as the amount of detail used is fantastic (really good for photos). The Tree of Life is a great centre attraction of the park. There are a few eateries around which have a good range of choices. Pro: the theme of the park. There is lush foliage all over, with animal sightings along with rides. Con: it seems smaller than the other parks! You can get through everything is half a day (around six hours). They don’t have too many rides but the ones they have are enjoyable. Tip: come as early as possible! There is little wait time on a lot of rides. Take away: absolutely recommend.

    Total surprise park!
We had to choose between Epcot and Animal Kingdom due to days constraint. I am so glad we chose Animal Kingdom!! A total surprise package. After spending couple of days in universal and magic kingdom, we were totally exhausted with G force rides and crowd. And this park served the right purpose- fun filled day with amazing rides and decor which suited all age group. Each section is so unique and beautifully made, closest to actual places. Mount Everest ride, rapids etc kept the excitement going and Kilimanjaro ride, gorilla falls, maharaja trek etc slowed the pace and forced us to enjoy the breathtaking nature. Of course icing on the top was Avatar ride! What an experience it was. From signboards to food options (we got very good veg food) to water fountains, everything was just about right. For our last day in orlanda, this was perfect end as it was thrilling and soothing at same time. Highly recommended to visit this park.

    Great Service
Great park and easy to get around. The highlight of the visit was lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe. It was very busy and wait for food was long but our server Ashley was great and made the wait easier especially with having our young grandchildren. Food was also very good.

Excellent, but starting to get very costly.
Our third visit here, the first being nine years ago. Still love the chilled atmosphere at Animal Kingdom BUT there has been a big change to the way Disney appear to do business as opposed to when we were last here in 2017. Then, you could have up to three “live” Fast Passes which allowed you to dodge the longer queues. And they were free. Now, those appear to have been replaced by Lightning Lanes, where you can still dodge the queues but at a cost. We didn’t even explore the price, knowing it was unlikely to be cheap. The consequence of that is long waits, I’m afraid. We pushed over two hours queuing for the breathtaking Flight Of Passage. Other queues were around an hour. All of which meant we paid over 500 dollars for a family of four to experience just five rides. Stunning park, still one of our favourites. But difficult to argue that it represents value for money these days.

    Animal Kingdom.
This year we went to visit all four parks. Animal kingdom is one of my favorites. I find it to be the easiest one when it comes to entering and parking. I love all the different. Counties and food options. It’s not my favorite for the ride.

The Bridget’s take on DISNEY’S Animal Kingdom
My husband and I took our grandson’s to Disney Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs mall, and Magic Kingdom for our eldest grandson’s birthday. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (Jumbo House) for 5days it was AMAZING!!! Each day we woke up looking out on the grounds where the animals dwelled. The views were impressive. We watched the sunrise and a couple of those days we watched the sunset amidst the animals. “Absolutely beautiful” We also brought our 10yrs old niece:) she has been to Disney, many times before… However, she kept saying how the resort was an amazing place to visit and that she did not want to leave!!! We all agreed! All of the children and us adults (children at heart) had a great time learning and exploring the many animals, excellent food, beautiful grounds, and the pool!!

    Animal kingdom family visit
This is my favorite Disney park. I’m in love. We arrived at open, and we pretty much did it all. We did genie plus which I would recommend if you can. Avatar by far our family favorite ride! It was just simply amazing! Words do not do it justice. The safari is also amazing! You get to see so many animals, and on the surface of it, it appears the animals are well looked after. The park is very clean. And as a family we enjoyed this park so much.

I decided to visit the AK since I had a free day after dropping my daughter off for her stint in the Disney College program. I purchased a one day ticket at a cost of $150. While very expensive, I recognize that it is costly to maintain such a park.

That said, I expect a good experience for that kind of outlay. While AK is absolutely beautiful, both in theming and landscaping, the excessive crowds diminished enjoyment.
This crowding also impacted the number of rides I was able to enjoy. Wait times for just about every ride were in excess of 60 minutes, with a couple over 100.
Thankfully, I was able to experience Flight of Passage, as I headed there as soon as the park opened. Even so, I waited 45 minutes.
If you want to minimize your wait time, you can purchase the privilege at a substantial
additional cost.
Food and drink is also very high…a bottle of soda is $5.50.

While I did enjoy the 2 rides and several shows/experiences, my overall impression was soured because of excessive crowds and extortionate prices.

I experienced the same issues at Disney Springs.

I have always loved WDW. Have visited many times in past years.
The WDW of today has changed , and, IMHO, not in a good way.
I truly believe Walt Disney would not be pleased.

We visited on a 90° day in June. Be advised: everything costs more than before. A lot more. Not a lot new here either. If you’ve ridden the avatar ride, you’ve ridden the best ride in the park. Rides that used to be a lot of fun like Safari Seem to have lost their luster. Our guide for Safari was monotonic and showed zero enthusiasm.

Spent about an hour, trying to get a disability pass for someone in my group, but we were turned down. Very interesting that Disney representatives told us that disability passes are not based on someone’s diagnosis. I’m not sure what the disability pass is based on, perhaps a favorite flavor of ice cream?

The park was roasting hot and very crowded. The amount that you’re charged to come into the park just isn’t enough for Disney to charge you. You have to buy the Disney genie, which gives you the opportunity to rush around the park back-and-forth instead of just standing in line somewhere . One lesson we learned was that the Disney genie is overrated and definitely not worth the price.

On top of the Disney Genie is the additional charge for the lightning lane entrance to certain rides. So after being charged to come into the park and then being charged for the Disney Genie, there’s another charge for the lightning lanes. Yes, these lanes save time and sometimes you cannot ride the ride at all unless you purchase the lightning lane. doesn’t that beg the question, What did I pay for originally to come into the park? I guess that just allows you to walk around and look at rides but not ride anything.

I feel sorry for the young families now. It’s very difficult to see Disney through your young children’s eyes as you constantly and repeatedly open your phone app to see where you must go, what you must do, what schedule you need to be on, where you need to be next, etc. etc. I certainly understand progress, but just because something is possible doesn’t necessarily make it better. In this instance, it certainly makes it more expensive.

Very excellent theme park with a wonderful way of immersing you into nature. Whether you want to see beautiful sights of Pandora (World of Avatar), or a take a ride on a safari, you can find it in Animal Kingdom. The amazing attention to detail in this park, makes you feel like you might actually be in a place like Africa. The only thing that makes me take a star from this park is the rides, there are very few of them, but the ones they do have are amazing.

This is a great zoo and amusement park combined. My friends and I particularly enjoyed the safari. We took the safari twice. The tour guides were knowledgeable and witty. My favorite part of the visit, however, was the Lion King show. The costumes were beautiful, the performers were fascinating, and it was fun to see the crowd involvement.

Best park we visited out of the four
Loved flight of passage and the safari tour
Volume could go up on the tour guide to block out the sound of guests who loved to talk over the top of him but no other complaints
It was a fantastic day even though slightly wet
This is one I would definitely return to

We rope dropped Avatar only to find a 135 minute wait with the park only being open half an hour for early entry. This attraction has so few attractions that the one heavy hitter takes all of the attendance. Dinoland remains neglected, Everest is still a great family coaster, after that....theres not much else.

The score is for the safari however which remains excellent, this was done at 8am with all animals on sight, and worth the entry alone. This is alongside the Lion King show which is flawless.

Very much a half day park, where half of it could now be done with some heavy reimagining.

I LOVED IT! We arrived early around 7:20am park opened 8am, we pre booked 1 day pass each, which was around $150 per person, we drove so paid for parking which was $30. We headed straight for the safari which was honestly brilliant!! I couldn't believe how many animals we saw! We then headed to Avatar World, the amount of detail put in is unreal, truly magical. We qued for about 80 mins for the simulation ride, OMG brilliant, so so good, I only wished it was longer!! We then went around the park I can't remember the order, Asia was brilliant and the Mount Everest ride was really good, I didn't know what to expect from the whole ride so maybe if I went again I'd get the lightning pass for the rides because the ques were mega long, all in all fabulous day
