I visited the Orlando Science Center during the Otronicon and it was wonderful. There were many activities for my "children" (they are 22, 16 and 14 years old) - Indie games, programming language activities etc. Plus we explored other spaces with exotic specimens. We definitely approved the Otronicon and the Orlando Science Center.

Recently visited on a Saturday in conjunction with the Otronicon, the annual interactive technology convention. We live in Sarasota County and our older daughter, who is a teacher in Brevard County, suggested the visit as a nice birthday outing for her and her younger brother (7th grader). Both of them, and we parents, had a GREAT time. In addition to... More

I've been to many science centers in different cities and Orlando's has always ranked near the bottom. It has a good layout and a nice building, but the exhibits are never really that interesting or well maintained. There are special events here that make the science center redeemable, such as Otronicon, but on the whole it's a pretty below average... More

Had a great day with all ages in attendance. From my mother who is 76 to my grandson who is 5. Toytopia was a nice way to start it off with toy memorabellia from all years and toy trivia. Kids town was an interesting way to teach kids community and to work together to achieve goals. Nice day altogether.

We visited the center for the first time over this past weekend for something to do before the kids went back to school. We spent about 3 hours there and didn't quite stop to do everything. They have several hands-on activities for the kids. My son's favorites were the Legos, the wood building blocks and the dinosaur fossil digging. We didn't... More

OSC has expanded its Kids Town area and added many wonderful features that kids love. The special exhibits are always good & the movies are not to be missed.

I was very impressed! We have been to many similar museums throughout Florida and this one is by far the best. It is well thought, pedagocally progressive, and keeps kids of every age (and adults) busy and immersed. We highly recommend and will be back!

This stage of renovations was completed in early fall 2016. The kids' areas were greatly enlarged and improved, with areas targeted to specific ages. So, whether you're visiting with your toddler, preschooler, or any grade-school age child, they're going to find something fascinating, fun, and intriguing to explore. There's a climbing structure with nets, tubes, and obstacles to explore just... More

I can't find enough good things to say about the Science Center. It was a truly amazing place for our two year old. She did not want to leave and we didn't either! Be sure to give yourself several hours to see everything and give your kid enough time to get into the many, many awesome activities and experiments. Truly,... More

We recently visited the "new and improved" Science Center with our 5 year old granddaughter and this is what she had to say. We started with the new Kids Town area and spent most of the day here. Although we planned to see movies and lectures, time flew by and we just had tons of fun. The old orange grove... More
