We recently visited the "new and improved" Science Center with our 5 year old granddaughter and this is what she had to say. We started with the new Kids Town area and spent most of the day here. Although we planned to see movies and lectures, time flew by and we just had tons of fun. The old orange grove... More

You'll not forget the wildlife you experience because the storied atrium draws you back to the central hall. Events are coveted at this location so book early.

I wasn't to sure as to what we'd find, as I've only visited the Children's Museum in Houston, Texas. Getting into the museum was a little tricky at first. We couldn't find a place to park. However, we noticed the signage on the parking garage across the street advertising parking for the Science Museum. We pulled into the garage, paid... More

My family has had a pass for this museum for a few years now we enjoy going. My daughter loves this place and I feel good knowing she is doing so much hands on learning.

I have been coming to this science center for well over 20 years (even back when it was in a different building). I have seen many exhibits come and go, some better than others, and a few downright amazing. Anyone else remember the Star Trek and Dinosaur exhibits a long time ago? The Mummy experience last year was absolutely amazing.... More

Ok look, this isn't a theme park , but I went 3 days in a row lol it's fun! I love watching the shows in the Cinema...thingy. Summer time this is a great spot for kids. There's always something to do. And watching the Laser Beam light show was just too cool. I can't wait to go back.

The science center was my favorite place to go as a child from the children's section to the tornado simulator. I always enjoy seeing the huge plastic tree that extends to all the floors of the building. At the bottom of the center are alligators and turtles and other captive wildlife. If you or someone you knows loves science (... More

I am big on making sure an attraction will be fitting for my 3 year old to enjoy, I have to say that I was skeptical about this one as it is a "science" museum. We stopped by as a last minute change of plans (rain) and we were very pleasantly surprised on the fact that this place is really... More

The science center has a wide variety of activities for children, from engineering, building, weather, Movies in 3D and dinosaurs. It would bean excellent place for a family day of learning and adventure. The movies are high quality 3D productions by National Geographic and the BBC. The Titles are Extreme Weather, Wild Africa, and Little Giants. Excellent viewing for the... More

I went to the Glazer Children's Museum in Tampa in 2015 and have to say that if you have a choice, I would prefer Glazer's. OSC just opened a Kids Town which is great for smaller (up to 7yrs) kids and makes it worthwhile to visit with the entire family.
