Hogwarts-always great!! I wish I could say it was less than great as the lines can get long. The lines (and masks) are the drawbacks to visiting Hogwarts during COVID>

Very disappointed in our experience. Train was not operating for the 4 days we were there. Lines were long and wait times were more than stated by signs posted at each. Food at Three Broomsticks was not worth the money paid.

This is our favorite part of the park. It is magical. The design of the park is realistic. The interactive spells are incredibly fun and we appreciate the workers who walk around helping people if they cannot get it to work!

Harry Potter books and movies come to life. If you are a super fan or not a fan at all this is a must see. Absolutely the best experience ever. I would recommend a park hopper so you don’t miss out on riding the Hogwarts Express on platform 9 3/4. I would also recommend going into Universal Studios first. Diagon Alley was less crowed then Hogsmead. Buy your wand at Ollivander’s on Diagon Alley.
Yes, the wand is worth the cost. There are about 15 “magic areas” in Diagon Alley and about 12 at Hogsmead. The magic areas are mapped out on the map given to you when you purchase your wand. Also the directions for the motion are on the map but also on the gold marked areas in the cement. Stand on the gold area and use small motions to get the magic to work.
Plan a whole day with the park hopper just to experience both of these areas. Both areas are huge and wait times could limit what you see. I would recommend the lightening pass so you can ride all the attractions.
FYI…My husband is not a Harry Potter fan but thought the whole experience was better than expected.

Our family loved The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Whether or not you ride all the rides, there is a magical feeling as you are transported to Harry Potter's world. The rides are fantastic - the only downside is that they are split between two parks so you need a pass to both to ride all of them. We did not get a chance to ride the Hogwarts Express - so that is still on the list for our next adventure. One big plus, that was not intended, was getting in the single rider for Hagrid's as soon as the single rider line opened (which was a couple hours after the park opened) and almost walked on, while the regular line was 50+ minute wait.

Hi there! Thank you for your review. I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our attractions so much! Having a park-to-park ticket is a great way to see all that we have to offer in these areas. Our single rider queues are also a great option to take advantage of if you do not mind being separated from your party. On your next visit, I highly recommend trying some of the delicious treats and snacks here! We hope to see you again soon. -Brianna

We were so excited about going to the Potter world, that was our main focus, but it was overly crowded and you couldn't move through the village very well, they needed more space. I would hate to be in that crowd if a disaster happens, because of the lack of room and places to exit out of there quickly. If anything you need to get to Hagrid's ride and Harry's escape early, they are worth the ride.

I am a huge HP fan, and Universal didn't disappoint. The Hogwarts castle is tall and imposing, but so cool! We didn't want to ride the roller coaster inside the castle, but we were allowed to walk through to see it all...such a fantastic thing - the artists are so talented. Gotta have a butterbeer as well.

Best Christmas ever. The light show on the castle was stellar. So much to see and do and buy. Make sure to save up beforehand. Can't be done in a day or even 5 as we found out, going back next year to do more
