Just with of Sarasota, in Osprey you'll find a great State Park. Water access and great biking and hiking trails. Be careful where you step, it's got lots if local animals and snakes...last tim there saw a coral snake...so bring camera too

It's at least 30 to 45 minutes away. I am not familiar witn the beaches in that area of Florida.

We must have gone to five beaches with the furthest one being 30 minutes away from camp. It was December so we beach hopped.
