Nice shaded walking with lots of native plants and animals.Has a nature center to educate visitors on all the native plants and animals they may encounter while walking the trail. There is a kayak launch but did not seem practical.

I love this park. I look forward to rolling under the canopy and watching for wildlife. There is plenty of shade and the "off" boardwalk paths appear to be very well maintained. You can tell there is a "But" coming, can't you? The Boardwalk needs maintenance very badly. The boards are uneven, nails have popped up. The condition of the... More

A relaxing trail experience through the woods and along the creek. Multiple trail options with some boardwalks too.

Turkey Creek is a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the day with your loved ones. You can spent a couple of hours or all day. It is a nice sanctuary in the community. I highly recommend Turkey Creek. Mild activity for most people. I will be going back again and again!!

This has become our favorite place to get in some exercise. There are dedicated exercise path, jogging trail, hiking trails and an extensive boardwalk. Mostly in the shade, with a siting of native animals and birds.

Turkey Creek Sanctuary is a great place to take a walk on the boardwalk or a run on the jogging trails. Don't forget to check out the boat dock that can be paddled to from Melbourne. Lots of turtles and other animals.

Our visit gave us temps in the 60's so there were few animals out -one raccoon and a large white bird to be exact- we did see nesting holes for turtles which were pretty cool to view up close. The trails were beautiful and it was nice to imagine how the area looked before roads and subdivisions took over. Certainly... More

Its a nice place to go for a walk. I've seen gators in the creek a few times. Lots of nature and animals, go during the day when it's less busy.

This is a nice walk in nature.. Great for kids. Long board walk thru the woods. Water at the end of the trail sometimes you can see manatees or alligators. And turtles. There is a little house you can go into and see the different things you can see on this trail very interesting. Great for people who move here... More
