Don't go for the beach.. yes it is nice but $5 for one hour parking.. no way! Go for the rare and beautiful leucistic squirrel. If you are lucky you will see them: they are white and two live on the trees in the park. Best time for viewing between 4 and 5 pm.

A very pleasant and beautiful location with life guards on the beach. Well kept and clean. Parking is the only challenge on a busy day.

I went to many beaches in Palm beach area but this one is one of few well maintained beaches. You can snorkle here and see a lot of colorful fishes. plus after 6 pm parking is free and watching sunset is awsome.

We really enjoyed this beach. It is so laid back and beautiful. The waters were a bit choppy. I could have stayed alllllll day. The huts at the top of the hill were nice. We picked lots of seashells.

Since my posting here, they created more free parking spaces. It is no longer for people who play tennis, as it used to be, but also for visitors. We have 2 hours free parking, and it is awesome.

We visited the park on a Sunday to shell the pile. I have been shelling for 30 years & have never seen a pile of shells like this. We had an exciting day & brought home many treasures. The following Sunday we were joined by 4 of my family members. They also had a great time & enjoyed the hunt.... More

The ocean park is a fine beach, although it is somewhat high off the water's edge, so built because of the constant erosion from steady East winds. It has perhaps a half-dozen excellent tennis courts, with lessons available. Plenty of parking, first two hours free in the morning, which is primarily for the benefit of the tennis contingent. It is... More

Me and my friend had such a great time at Phipps Ocean Park. It was a very windy morning with rough surf and there were lots of different types of plovers hanging around. We saw the Wilson's plover, semipalmated plover and snowy plover. We also saw an osprey dive into the rough surf to catch it's fish. It was so... More

This is a great spot for a larger gathering to have a picnic and a day of fun at the beach! Nearby, you will find the Palm Beach Par 3 golf course, where you can either start or finish your fun-filled day, and also grab a bite on the second floor of the clubhouse, with incredible views of the ocean...
