If you love a beautiful garden this place is for you. There are azaleas, roses, gardenias, and so many that I am not aware of their names. Take a walk through the trails and see the native species.

This park has the only rocky beach in Florida. Beautiful waves breaking on the rocks. I could sit and take in the view for hours .

Washington Oaks Gardens State Park wraps you in warmth and coziness. There are maintenance and access in the park, but there has been no sacrifice of nature or Florida, Florida, Florida vegetation. This place is unspoiled Florida in a most intelligent setting. You can have an osmotic experience of peace and nature without having to backpack for miles to get... More

A very nice Florida State Park to visit year-around. Easy walking paths, some to the Intracoastal. Across the street from the main park entrance is another separate section where you can access beach along the Atlantic Ocean. Separate Fees for the main park and beach access.

We took a beautiful walk, the flowers and trees here are just beautiful. The whole setting was so peaceful and quiet. The building and history of the area on the placards was great and very informative. Definitely will go back again. The walking was very easy paths with just a few steps here and there.

Found this park on Pintrest when I did a search for things to do while on vacation in Florida. When I mentioned it to 3 different family members who live in Florida, they had never heard of it. It is absolutely beautiful. It is only about 25 minutes outside of St. Augustine and sits between the Mantanzas River and the... More
