Nice layout, friendly workers

Love the course layout. From the white 124 slope and 69.5 rating: women 123 slope and 70.6 rating. The course has plenty of water and fairway bunkers are deep. The greens are fair... read more

We are 6 month snowbirds who have been playing here occasionally for the past 14 years. The course has gone through different owners and managers during this time but the one constant has been the friendly people we have gotten to know. Unfortunately, even though the course has never been exceptional it has never been this bad. I had the... More

Great golf course. Some greens and tee boxes could do with a little work but overall well worth a visit.

Love the course layout. From the white 124 slope and 69.5 rating: women 123 slope and 70.6 rating. The course has plenty of water and fairway bunkers are deep. The greens are fair size. The nature around the course is very nice. Now we played in Feb. 2016 - and the course was very rough, the tees needed work and... More

Thank you for your review. We're glad to hear you enjoyed our layout and the service. Our course conditions have significantly improved over the last few months, but we had some very unfortunate weather interference over the summer and fall (our course was literally under water) so we've been actively combating the effects of that ever since. Now that the... More

My son and I played this course after dropping the ladies off at Clearwater Beach for the day. I should have known what we were in store for when the price was $38.00 for two including the cart. I'll start in the beginning,Driving range okay, no putting or chipping greens-under repair- Fairways not watered, dry in a lot of areas,... More

This course is in a great location, has a great layout, but needs some work. I can not complain about the $16 rate after 3pm, though. The staff is friendly and one of the best things about it is the Beef O Brad'ys. The course does need work all around. Nothing specific, the tee boxes have a lot of different... More

Tarpon Woods was experimenting with 8 inch holes (standard is 4.5") to see if they sped up play. Well, I didn't have any 3 or 4 putts as I do at home! Otherwise, the course was well maintained and the price was inexpensive. It does have a nice layout and was fun to play.

Have played here over the years and always find the conditions to be not up to snuff. Tee boxes need work, bunkers not in good condition and grrens always spotty. They have had mold problems on and of which have caused havoc with the greens. They have redone them on several occasions but never seem to cure the problems. The... More

I love the layout, but someone needs to put some money in this course! The fairways are not good, the greens are very slow. Nothing about this course is up to par. There is always a reason when a course charges extremely low rates during prime season. I love the low price, but please, either fix it up, or sell... More

The girl at the Pro Shop was very personable seeing as we booked this through GolfNow. Many courses do not treat you this nice when using an outside booking source. The Tee-Box was empty so she let us out 40 minutes early. The two of us completed our round in under 3 hours. Course is challenging from the blues because... More

Tarpor Woods is not in the greatest condition, but for a public course it is not too bad. The green fees, especially in the summer, are reasonable and we play there at least once a month with our two adult boys, I would like to see a little more care taken of the greens and we often play "winter rules"...
