Love going here almost every weekend! Last time we went during Christmas holidays and got to see lots of deer, turtles, birds, and even fished off the pier and I caught a "lizard-fish"! First time ever!

We only camped one night bc reservations were all full but it gave us a chance to check out the park for another time. The campground is very nice with lots of spaces, some located right on the water's edge (if you can be lucky enough to snag one!). Unfortunately we ended up between a group of about 6-8 families... The sand is soft and the water is a pretty green and blue. Restrooms are very clean for a state park. Nice view from the pier.

This is the place to take the family to the beach and enjoy the Florida Gulf Coast. Fabulous beaches, great facilities for camping, and let's not forget the nature trails. Beaches protected by a barrier reef make it a wonderful place to enjoy the water.

Took in St Andrews State Park yesterday to enjoy the beauty to walk their trails & see possibly some of the wildlife they talk about. No wildlife, but the trails were open & took them in. Did a drive around the park first to get our bearings & see what all they had to offer. Stopped at the main trail... More

If your looking for a family/friends oriented place this park is the place for you. Away from the craziness of PCB spring breakers, a great way to explore nature at its finest. Kiddie pool area is perfect for families with younger children and then there's the Gulf side for older teens. Great fishing off the rocks and even great just... More

Pristine and beautiful spot to experience any time all year long. Btw The sand you see on the dunes around the roads to get there is the original white sand. The dredged sand which is along the water is white but the grains are bigger and not like powder. Often people think this white sand is snow (in winter months... More

We visited in February. The shell island shuttle is closed for winter. Other boating activities are also. There are two hiking rails/areas. However, the trails are not marked. Even with a trail map they were difficult to follow. Kept going around in circles. Did see deer and alligator.
