Ghosts and Graveyard Tour of Pensacola

60 reviews
Embark on a journey through Pensacola's darker past and haunted present on a group ghost tour. A 1930 Ford transit bus takes you to the city's scariest locations. Discover the macabre history not found in any guidebook and listen to stories about stubborn ghosts who can't seem to move on. Bank robbery, live burial, and embalming techniques are just a few of the tour’s talking points.

Took a vacation with my 21yr old son to celebrate his turning 21. Had lunch and beers here one day then came back a couple of evenings to drink and people watch. Was a nice enough bar with a good crowd which included people of all ages. Definitely seemed to be the popular spot on Saturday night. Will visit again in the future.

Stopped for lunch and it was great. Hot raw oysters that were delicious, key lime daiquiri, and a fried shrimp basket. The shrimp were cooked to perfection! The drink was so good. Quirky place with a cool vibe and live music everyday. It was a relaxing 2 hr lunch. Will be back again.

My son had a very unfortunate experience at what used to be my favorite place to visit on the gulf. Here is what happened to him...Terrible customer service at the bar (with the bra line on the ceiling). Extremely rude bartender (J) and server (T) . We were refused water while ordering beer on a hot 4th of July weekend. I was discriminated against and not served. We asked why and were told it's because we did not tip when in fact we had. (Not that it should matter as tipping is based on service!) My friend was treated nicely while I was not. I am transgender and it became apparent that they had issue with this. We were told we could not sit at the table the hostess had seated us at. This was rudely yelled to us across the room bringing everyone's attention to us. When I stood by the table at the bar I was told I had to sit and not 'wander around' When I paid the bill for my second drink, my change was literally thrown at me. Other tables around us were getting service without issue. We had asked to speak to the manager but they never came. My friend defended me to them and asked for their names. We decided to just leave however the bartender requested us to be thrown out and security escorted us to the door. Extremely unfortunate end to my holiday vacation. I have always enjoyed this restaurant/bar and visited with my family on previous trips. Now that I am 22 and transgender I am obviously no longer welcome here. Disgusting!

Thank you so much for taking time to let us know about your recent visit to the Flora-Bama and I very much apologize for the delay in response. Firstly, on behalf of our entire staff please let me extend my sincerest apologies for the experience you had. I completely understand your frustrations and I assure you that your comments were passed to upper management for further review and action. I can't stress enough how disappointing this is to hear as we have a ZERO tolerance policy for any of this sort of behavior from our staff and I'm so sorry this experience occured during your time with us. If possible, can you send me any sort of description on the bartender/server who was rude to you? Any additional information you may have would be helpful so that we can assure this is handled with the correct staff. My name is Blakeli Calvert and I'm a marketing manager for the Flora-Bama properties, and my email is blakeli@florabama.com. Please feel free to send me any other details, questions or concerns you may have there.

We visited about 3 weeks ago and Had a great time all week! We were there everyday for one thing or another. Our 2 favorite shows were Big Earl on Saturday and a few days later Brittany Grimes! Great oysters. Great Shrimp! No bingo this year but I understand completely! Some reason the beer just tastes better here!!

Where else can you find a bar with so much live music, great drinks at fantastic prices, beach stage, gift shop and a shuttle to take you to the hotel???!! This is FloraBama! We went to Gulf Shores, Perdido Key simply to visit this bar and it was worth the trip. The live musicians were awesome, my husband tried crawfish for the first time and the rum drinks were the best! Lisa was one of our servers, was so sweet and Country helped us find a ride (FloraBama Limo one night and cab the other nights) at the end of the night. Seriously, the staff here is awesome. I'm sure there are issues as in any bar but we didn't see one. Security was watching and seemed to handle anything with friendliness and courtesy. The bartenders and servers were all very friendly. Can't wait to return. Oh and they have church and bingo!

Thank you so much for letting us know about your recent visit to the Flora-Bama, we're so happy to hear ya'll had a large time with us! Country is still with us and we still feel so very blessed to have such a rockstar on our Ambassador team! Though we don't currently have Bingo going on right now, because of the limited capacity restrictions given by the state of FL, we sure miss our Sam the Bingo Man and hope to start Bingo back up again soon! Look forward to having you back in next time you're in the area :)
