I'm not a plane fanatic, so my view is that of a layman. The museum houses about 20 planes in a nice hanger, and the planes are all in good condition. We were able to walk around and get close up to the planes, which...More

This museum was for many year one of the best in the United States. Possibly because of a remodelling program, many of the aircraft exhibits, some of which are unique, are not now accessible to visitors. This reduces the quality of the museum's appeal and...More

Even although far less of the facility is on show than on my previous visit, I still thoroughly enjoyed my visit. On account of there being fewer aircraft to be amazed at, it meant I paid far more attention to those that were. The staff...More

Been here several times over the years, was told it was now only open on weekends and for special events. It's scaled down a lot, doesn't have the great restaurant it used to have, and not as many restoration tours. But still a great deal...More

For those who visited Fantasy of Flight a few years ago, the current museum will be a little disappointing. The once huge selection is now 20+ WWI & WWII aircraft, some vintage cars, and some models. Despite this, a visit will still take up to...More

Visited on a Friday (check opening times as they vary a lot) . It is a really great place to see many WWI & WW2 aircraft, most of which are in flying condition in very bright and clean conditions. Nice gift shop area, plenty of...More

A lot of great looking planes. Did the tour and learned a lot about the plane from way back to the first world war. Hope to come back soon. Wayne from Maine.

It was sad to see the gates were locked when we went to visit - we were told down the street that they only do events and personal openings now. We wee there several years ago and loved the old planes - hopefully maybe they...More

Disappointed that only a small hanger is now open. When we visited a few years ago it was a must for aircraft enthusiasts but no longer, a waste of fuel travelling there

Due to remodel it is closed for the summer. It reopens on weekend schedule the end of November. The Sunderland is a large plane so I doubt it is in the limited museum. When we were last there, it was not. As far as we know... More
