The Cultural Center been serving Port Charlotte and the surrounding community with educational, recreational, social and entertainment activities since 1961. More than 12,000 happenings go on each year on our 90,000 square foot campus. The Cultural Center enriches the lives of our residents and visitors by offering a theater, The Learning Place - for the Arts, Academics, Dance and Exercise; Beaches Cafe - for delicious breakfast and lunch; and unique shopping in the Thrift and Gift shops onsite. We can also accommodate seminars, banquets, and gatherings of any size in our adjustable 7,200 square foot conference center.Our volunteers, your donations, and the support of the community have allowed us to maintain our legacy as “The Place that Friendship Built”.

The cultural center has a good location and dining is reasonably priced. Being that it is for profit not does allow it to provide services for many organizations and local residents.

If you are a senior citizen, or any age, the cultural center in Port Charlotte has something for everyone. They offer classes in everything from computers, art, exercise, etc. They have a brochure which lists all of the courses offered and the prices are reasonable....More

I love this place. Library, fitness center, woodworking, restaurant, entertainment, computer classes, games, bingo, clothing consignment, gift shop, home wares consignment, shop for handmade items, attend a broadway like show. The membership is reasonable and allows you discounts on tickets, etc.
