Cape San Blas is beautiful, remote, quiet and dog friendly. The area we stayed was next to state park. Lots of greenery and no high rises or hotels. For me the best part about our stay was the remoteness and the laid back environment. The...More

Having spent most of my life visiting the grand majority of Florida's Emerald Coast, in May 2015, I had the pleasure of spending four days in Cape San Blas. Far and away THE hidden gem among the many getaways in the Gulf of Mexico. Quaint,...More

Even though there was not much to see, I still love traveling Florida. Hwy 98 and 30A are still two of my favorites when I'm taking my time. You can't beat the seafood... and the views along these highways.

I have been camping on Cape San Blas at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park for 10 years. I've never been disappointed. I love the seclusion and beauty.

One of our favorite beaches ever. Beautiful beach. Beautiful ocean. So low key. Never crowded. Very dog friendly. Very convenient sidewalk that stretches the entire cape to run, walk, or ride bikes.

3rd week of May is GOOD ... with 3 young ones - both the weather and the bugs (or lack of) should be more than OK. You can really insure a bugless visit by going a couple miles past Pt. St. Joe to Cape San Blas. Out on... More
