I’ve been on ghost walks when I travel and couldn’t believe when I found out about one in my own home town. Can’t believe I missed this until now. The night I went the group was about 20 people so there was a good mix between those who believe in the paranormal and those who don’t. For those who believe it’s super fun to have meters and digital thermometers to see where they record activity. For those who don’t believe there is lots of history and great stories to focus on. And maybe even a chance to be converted to a believer. Those temperature variations are hard to explain. Plan on 2 hours and wear comfy shoes. The price is reasonable. The hosts are knowledgeable and entertaining. I’m not sure it’s appropriate for small children but tweens on up should do fine. The meeting location is also great to enjoy a nice meal before or drink after at the neighboring restaurants. I will be taking all of my out of town visitors on this walk and some of my hometown friends too.

Pat and Pat, a husband-wife team, are the hosts. He is a local historian, she is a paranormalist. Between the 2, it is fun and educational. We were a group of 15, and it took longer than the hour advertised, probably closer to 1 1/2 hours. We each had handheld meters to detect paranormal activity. One of us, (my husband), had activity on his meter constantly. We switched devices, but the "spirit" stayed with him, not the device he traded to me, so it wasn't a malfunction. Overall, a fun night, and well worth the small fee.
