This is a great place to go for couples, for families or just by yourself. Very pet friendly, many things going on here from pickleball to musicians jamming. Restaurants a short walk away.

Plenty of special events: concerts, races, always something to do. Nice water cooling park, boat harbor, on the scenic water walk, boat rentals, charter boats, restaurants, shops, bike rentals, visitors center, public restrooms, walking distance to more restaurants, hotels, and historic downtown.

This is such a great place to bring the family. People pay a lot of money to go to resorts and have the view you can get here for free! Fun waterpark for younger kids too.

We visit Laishley Park whenever we come to town. A nice spot to sit and relax and enjoy the view. BONUS - You might find some sweet painted rocks here !

After eating the ton of great food and then ice cream, you can at least feel a little less guilty by taking a walk around the park. It's very clean and very relaxing !!!

I live in the area and often walk through this park. The park was developed after the onslaught of Hurricane Charlie in 2004. It is well done. Nice fountain area for kids to play, adequate bath houses, and wonderful walkways for exploration along the harbor....More

There are cycling paths in the park, but they're not too long, just under a mile. If you like to get a workout in, I suggest cycling down to Fisherman's Village, which is over a mile on W. Marion Avenue. Follow W. Marion... More
