Beautiful.

I ran through the park. Shady spot to sit and watch boats and get in the water, covered play area, launching for boats, benches to boat watch.

Excellent Snorkeling near the shore
Mar 2021
This is a great place to snorkel that you can access from the beach. It really does have a "snorkel trail" that is easy to follow and you see a lot of fish. The beach area is not huge, but we were there on a weekday in March, so there was a lot of area to sit.

Snorkel Trail Amazing at High Tide
Jul 2020 • Family
Staying at Singer Island is becoming a family favorite each year. Three amazing snorkel opportunities do not cost much. By the pump house near Marriott Ocean Pointe, Peanut Island, and Phil Foster Park. This year we packed our extra snorkel gear in a suitcase. If you need there are plenty of amazing snorkel tour opportunities or you can go to Wings to buy supplies.

If you do online and TripAdvisor research you can find maps to the snorkel trail and realize that high tide is the time to go. It is easy to search when high tide is for the day you go. Get there 30-60 minutes before to find parking (free), prepare, and claim a spot on the beach under the bridge.

My wife and I are average swimmers and did the complete snorkel tour in an hour. Our teenagers have been on the swim team and it was really fun for them to dive below the surface and play with the fishes. All of us were comfortable floating in saltwater and lifeguards are watching. Again if you need you can buy a fun noodle or a snorkel life jacket if that will help.

This is a must-do activity that you will remember for many years and like us come back to do!

Great snorkeling trail
Dec 2020
Great park along the Intercoastal. Fun to watch the boats go by and snorkel along the trail. I enjoy snorkeling but am a bit of a chicken in the water. The ocean was very windy on our visit so this park was perfect! I felt completely comfortable and safe snorkeling in this area. Saw 2 stingray hidden, hermit crab, lots of fish, and a large starfish in our short visit.

Great park for water activities!
Dec 2020
Safe, clean, with nice facilities! We fished off the bridge and pier. Saw lots of families with small children using the beach for swimming. There are restrooms, playground, and a fish cleaning station. Saw snorkelers and divers too. You can launch a kayak or boat. No entrance fees. We loved this little gem of a park!

Visibility not great; seedy area
Dec 2020 • Family
We went during high tide but visibility still not good. Parking packed and it’s in a rather seedy area. We were snorkeling and the reef is pretty deep so not a lot to see on the surface unless you’re diving. Peanut Island much better for snorkeling

Checked out during our morning walk
Oct 2020
Just walked through as park of our morning exercise walk. Looks like a nice place to launch from if you have a boat and opportunities for fishing. What I especially liked was the guarded beach under the bridge ~ never expected to see that there - what a neat place to hang-out. Also saw a number of groups doing scuba there.

Clear water and lots of fish
Aug 2020
My wife and I went snorkeling on the snorkel trail at Phil Foster. The water was so clear! There were so many colorful fish to look at and photograph.

Check the tide tables; this location is best from 1 hour before high tide until 1 hour after that occurs.

If you like to snorkel and you are anywhere close to this park, visit it!

Great park. So so location
Feb 2020
The park is located right under the Blue Heron Bridge...so there is not much space for parking and the area can be a bit "sketchy". But under the bridge the beach area is beautiful and the boating area even better! They have an artificial reef trail just off the beach which is a must see if your an avid diver or snorkeler.
