We did not climb to the top of the light house. We walked around and took pictures of it from the ground. We went around the grounds and into the gift shop. The gift shop was very nice. We bought some soveneirs from it.More

the museum part its self only ok, they did have a nice collection of wooden ships and of course the walk up to top was fun. they had several really good hikes around the gounds.

Great place to visit and get some history of the lighthouse and area. Parking is plentiful. The gift shop is great! Staff was welcoming and informative. The views from the top are breathtaking.

What an amazing place with so much history that you've got to see for yourself. It's not exactly an effortless adventure climbing the lighthouse's 219 steps but it's an adventure well worth the climb (at least once). There is other ground level exhibits to entertain...More

Spend several hours with kids touring the light keepers house, climbing to the top of the lighthouse and walking the grounds.

Thos time of year is fantastic for walking the stairs. I am a member and able to walk daily. If you go you should join as a member it's a a couple of dollars more for an annual member.
