This was one of our favorites too. Always heard about the Fountain of Youth when I was young, and was very excited to finally see it. We spent a lot of time there and enjoyed all of it very much. I would definitely suggest this place.

This is just what you think: a true tourist trap; avoid at all costs. Anything else in town is better that this.

Dear CocoGroveMike: As I look over the other reviews of the Park, especially the five/four star reviews, I am struck by how deeply we must have failed for you to think this way. I truly believe that we are not a tourist trap in any way, shape or form. I would welcome the opportunity to learn how the guest experience... More

It was different I will say. You can drink the water out of the fountain, and you can walk around and see the sites, and you can go into the planterium, and other building to see some of the history of the Fountain. It is some walking so keep that in mind.

Great for history buffs. Watching the cannon fired off was really an experience. We drank the water so we will see if we stay youthful.... One can always hope... Great for children of all ages.

Our kids age 6&8yo loved this place. It was open with both indoor & outdoor activities. They loved the replicated Indian Village & had fun going in & out of the huts. There are over 30 peacocks just walking around as you tour the area. They have live canon firing but we did not see it. We did try the... More

This is located in a very pretty park like setting that has exhibits of how the Indians lived at the time and how Ponce de Leon discovered the Fountain of Youth. There is a cannon demonstration and you can sample the water.

The park isn't that big but provides a lot for the admission price because we were able to park our car there for the day, see the park and its' shows and easily walk to all of the other tourist attractions - We arrived early walked through the entire park to include watching the planetarium show, globe show, and cannon... At first this might seem old and worn out...that helps set the scene to revisit some history and learn some really cool things while being entertained. Good for entire family.
