Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The St. Augustine inlet is a beautiful waterfront area. We watched the sunset here with the April pink moon rising.

We booked a sightseeing trio which left at 5.45 pm form the dock. We went all the way to the st Augustine lighthouse and saw quit a few dolphins along the way, which made the trip extra special to us. As we left on the last tour of the day we had the chance to see the sun set and turned everything around us in a golden light. We sat outside in the deck and had a good time with friends who came along with us. Its a good way to end a day in st Augustine!

Love the ocean, but this can be pretty hairy to navigate at changing tides. Pay attention to the markers.

We kayaked from Anastasia State Park to the St Augustine Harbor which took us through the Inlet. The views of the fort, the cross, activity along the harbor was a contrast to the sand bars, lighthouse, dolphins and birds along the river. Hint: check the tide chart as the river current can make a miles of paddling seem much longer. Beaches and private spots along the way. We were the only people on the river.

Nice calm scenic views of the bay and draw bridge that stretches to the other heading toward Vilano Beach and the light house.

I have taken my cameras with me as we travel. The inlet offers a spectacular view any time of day but sunrise and late afternoon provide some great shots. It's an impressive view of nature at its finest.

We love everything about St. Augustine, the inlet included. We like to fish, and if you don't have a boat the alternative to surf casting beachside is to head over to the inlet and fish the intercoastal. This year while fishing we saw schools of dolphin and a manatee! Plus there is plenty of birdlife around to keep you occupied. Lovely area, stunning sunsets over the marshes. Fun to watch the tides going in and out, revealing secrets then covering them up again. Can be magical, if you slow down and just take it in.

St.. Augustine is a charming old Spanish town home to the famous Ponce de Leon and the fountain of youth. An hours drive from Jacksonville I arrived at the equally charming Victorian Penny Farthing B&B run by a stalwart energetic Englishwoman. She served outrageous full English Breakfasts that kept me full all day and wine in the afternoon. Just lovely! The narrow streets harbor all sorts of wonderful restaurants, shops and historic sights. Aside from all the historic sides easily seen by the national Old Town Trolley Tours, there are harbor tours and then the beach. In late February being in Northern Florida, it is cooler and often windy. For northerners the water is perfectly what they get in the summer. The old city is cozy total walk about place. Stay in America, visit old St. Augustine.

I live near here and it's a beautiful and relaxing view especially on a bad day. You can walk on the bridges here as well as drive and you will often see dolphins playing.
