The tour was such a treat! Joe was funny and personable. He made a direct contact to all of my children at different points during the tour. We had the hardest time deciding when to stop filling our basket in the gift shop! It's all so good!

We are sorry for any misinformation that you were provided by a third party. However, we do not advertise that our tours are free. Since we started our Tasting Tours in 2010 at our new location, 149 King Street, they have not been free. Our tours are guided, last 45-50 minutes and feature a tasting experience of six samples and... More

The tour is not free, but it is well worth the cost. Our guide, Joe, was entertaining as well as knowledgeable. We began with a video on cocoa bean growth, harvesting, and preparation. Then taste testing various forms of chocolate. We actually went into the factory and saw the hand-made candies being made, and could sample them, too. The tour... More

A nice tour of an artisan chocolate factory, with plenty of delicious tastes along the way. Our tour guide kept us informed, laughing at his puns, and enjoying the tastes of their chocolates.

We had a fun learning experience here coated in generous amounts of extra creamy chocolate. The tour was about an hour and cost $16 a person, but you get $2 coupon toward a $10 purchase plus six melt in your mouth samples.

went on this 50 minute tour of the Whetstone chocolate factory with Joe as our tour guide. The place is a local icon for over 50 years. We also got served generous samples of their products. The tour started with the famous Lucy episode of the chocolate factory and we proceeded to see how efficient their operation really is. It... More

They, like many other businesses in the area, was hard hit by Mathew last Fall. They are not quite up to full operation at this time but enough so that the tours may continue and you DO learn a lot about the chocolate making operation and about the cocoa bean. We were fortunate enough to be the last ones to... More

Even though the tour price was only $8.00, I was disappointed. The tour guide was friendly and informative, however the actual chocolate making room was not in operation except for one station pouring chocolate over pretzels. The samples given seemed only to promote sale of products in the attached store. Kids would be bored so don't waste your money.

My mom, sister and myself visited this chocolate factory last Saturday. Although the weather was cold, windy and rainy, the chocolate tour brightened our day. Joe, our tour guide, was hilarious. He explained the process of making chocolate, and gave us samples of milk, white and dark chocolates. I recommend this tour for anyone who likes chocolate!
