So beautiful and peaceful.

The inside of this cathedral is breath taking. The windows, the altar and such are lovely. Inspiring.

Most of us come to St. Augustine for the history, at least in part, and this church is certainly a good part of that history. The architecture and the art work is awe-inspiring, while the location and price (free) can't be beat. Someday I'll come back and experience an actual Mass there, a suggestion I'd make no matter your denomination... More

I had not been in the church for a few years and they freshened up the interior. Very distinct red ceiling. It is not a large church but a reminder of missionary times.

I would make it a must see place to visit. Beautiful stain glass. The architecture inside and out is amazing! There is a small gift shop. Candles (to light) are $5 and $10.00. Quiet reflective!

Beautiful bright church. Recommend a visit but sometimes not open when services are going on and has limited hours.

A free view of the large basilica is definitely a must during a visit to St. Augustine. The grandeur is striking, and the architecture phenomenal. There is a power ... a presence ... to the experience. In the background, they play a muted recording of monks chanting -- well done.

This was the first time I saw the cathedral. It was beautiful and the museum was quite interesting and informative. You should plan for about two hours. The cathedral is just north of the plaza which contains several historic monuments and interpretive markers and you should plan to spend about half an hour. You can do that after 5:00 PM... More
