This is Well worth stopping to see in old town Saint Augustine . There's so much history in every building in Saint Augustine and this one didn't disappoint .

The former Governor’s residence has a great display free from the tacky tourist element that is too prevalent in the city.

While you can not access the upstairs areas of the building as they are now offices, on the main floor they have an exhibit that changes every six months. In March of 2018 it was all about the Spanish history and St Augustine. Many artifacts...More

This is a smallish place, but it's packed with information on the history of the area and it's presented in a way that helped me absorb the complicated history of the city and environs.

Interesting architecture and open to the public with no charge. Large displays with history and some interactive displays. Nice, clean public bathrooms. Worth a stop.
