If you want to walk on an empty beach, see eagles and other water birds, camp in a quiet place - this is it! And the local seafood is fantastic. I would say most campsites were roomy and private. Reserve early, especially if you want to stay for more than a few nights. I was here for 2 weeks at... More

RV park couldn't have been better. Bathrooms and grounds well maintained. Walking distance to beach. Great kayak options in the bay. Excellent shell and sponge finds on the beach. Would recommend to anyone who likes slow paced non commercialized beach visit. Be warned obey speed limits in park.

Camped out here in the off season. Stunning beaches, and peaceful paths to cross parts of the island

Pristine beaches are the highlight of this area. A campground and a short hiking trail are features. Leashed dogs are permitted in some areas, but not on the beaches. Great place for biking.

A must stop if you are on St George Island! The views are incredible! The beach is the most awesome place I have every seen. Only 6 dollars to visit. Get there at 8 AM and your pass will get you back in all day unlimited.

This is a beautiful state park and worth seeing. The beach is long and beautiful. There are places to hike. It's good for cars, you can also get there via bikes. It was a six dollar daily fee per car per day. Always happy to contribute to something like that.

Beautiful state park, stunning white sand beaches for miles, nice camping and nature trails. The days we were here were too cold and windy for the beach but enjoyed it none the less. Very popular apparently, ranger told us of people who just turn up without reservations but they are booked for almost year in advance. So don't do that,... More
