Food

Good bar staff, ordered food from smileys snack shack which was advised by bar staff, had a beef wrap, really big and great value for money. Good beer, good staff, good music.

My husband and I love this place. It's right on the beach! Volleyball, cornhole, and the sugar soft sand are right there for you to have fun with. The drinks are always ice cold and very good. Bartenders are always in a good mood and ready to have fun.

My wife and I stay at a hotel about a mile down the beach. It's a great walk along the shoreline and by the time you get there a cold beer is in order. The service is always friendly and it's clearly a locals hangout. If you enjoy watching beach volleyball this is the spot.

You can't beat having a drink and watching the sunset at the Undertow Beach Bar. Great place to meet new friends. The beach of the best and they have volley ball nets so you can play. If you want to relax they even have a deck with beach lounge chairs to get a tan.

We came the week after spring break...so we thought. There was still a lot of people there. The first attempt to go there we were unable to get into the lot as they were full. The next night, we got it and it was great. Right out the back door they have the beach, volleyball, and other games. Inside they... More

Since there's legally no drinking on the beach, this was an awesome spot to breakup the beach day and meet up with friends. Some of the days were busier/more packed than others, but either way the service was pretty consistently good, the drinks proportional to the price and just a fun place to hang out. The seating up on the... More

I have visited the Undertow several times. It seems that to visit mid week in the evening is far different from visiting on a weekend. I will give it another weekend try, but not mid week unless I want to feel unattended, neglected, etc. Weekends are really where this place comes alive. It was disappointing that they no longer served... More

I've been here before and loved it... This past weekend, we went back and it was horrible! There were 4 girls behind the bar and they were more interested in fixing their hair and talking than serving their patrons. We needed smoke signals to get a drink. I'm very disappointed.

It was OK. I wouldn't go out of my way to go there though. We went because it was within walking distance of our condo. We had a hard time getting a bartender's attention to order in the first place and never could get her attention for a refill so we moved on. Not the cleanest of places.
