Nice zoo.

Not a big zoo, but nice animal variety. Lots for kids to do; zip line looks fun. Herpetarium has nice collection. Admission price is a bit high.

Probably it's vey exciting for children, because there is a mini waterpart for them, they can feed giraffe and animals. But for adults, we didn find it to mch entertaining, the botanical part is beautiful, but the zoo isnt too big - although, partly it was closed because we were there in february - and what I really did not... We arrived at opening time. The park is very unique as you walk under the different zip lines to get to the front gate. A local person said they had recently redone the zoo. We admired the wood plank walkways throughout and the tropical shaded beauty that was throughout the whole park.If you have kids, bring the bathing suits for... More

We thought they did a nice job with the animal habitats, it took about 2 hours and we felt we were able to take everything in.

The Central Florida Zoo and Botanical garden was fun. The only things lacking were big cats like lions and tigers, although they did have leopards, panthers and cheetahs. The food selection is slim but alright. For such a small Zoo the place still has pizzazz Yes, they have a decent splash pad!

The Central Florida Zoo has many , many attractions. This Zoo has grown immesly in thr past few years. One of the nrwer attractions is the zip line, which can be pretty intimidating if you are not use to this type of ride.

Really disappointed! The expectation was high, due to everything around it like the theme parks being what they are. Have to say, after completing the walk around the zoo in less than an hour, I was super disappointed. I was expecting a lot more animals to see, a lot more to it. It was small, most times there was only... More

While we are not as large as the theme parks in Central Florida, we are a nonprofit, so your admission goes directly to supporting our Zoo. We host over 400 animals representing over 100 different species. In addition to viewing the animals, you can catch a keeper chat or show to learn more about the animals from our Animal Care... A lot of previous reviewers knocked this zoo for size. No, it isn't huge, but it's a decent size for a regional zoo. Many larger zoos charge a lot more to enter, I think the admission is in line with other area attractions of similar size. We had a groupon, which made it an even better deal: 2 adults plus... More

We enjoyed the zoo with our almost 2 year old grandson. There were some hands on things he liked -- like touching a snake. Interesting snake presentation. All in all it was a nice experience.

Zoo is clean but not as many animals as you would expect. I was disappointed that most of them were sleeping during the mid day. Food was surprisingly good at snack bar. Feeding the giraffes was fun.

Thank you for the review, we value your feedback. Many animals do sleep during the day, as many animals have a different sleeping schedule than humans do. For example, sloths sleep over 20 hours a day! Just like a house cat, our cheetahs, leopard, clouded leopard, and cougar take naps throughout the day as well. Thank you for visiting our... More
