Not nearly as big as Miami, Jacksonville, or Tampa Zoos (great zoos!), but fun for families, especially with small children. The splash park was probably the best part of our visit. Animal - wise, somewhat disappointing. Not much too see compared to other Florida zoos. Being in Central Florida with all the attractions, one would think it would have more... More

Visited on a weekday and there were only a few other families there. It was a great place to take my two year old- small enough to easily walk around to all the animals, a little petting zoo where you can feed the goats and llama, and a nice splash pad and little playground. You can also feed the giraffes... More

I love this zoo. Perfect for families with small children. It's a little expensive tho. They keep going up on prices love the exhibits and the animals and birds.

Great way to spend the afternoon. Well kept exhibits and the animals were well cared for. Zip line was a lot of fun and the had different level of obstacle course for all ages.

This is a small zoo with a very nice variety of animals, particularly given its size. It is compact and great for families with small children. It's easy to walk around and see a lot of animals without the kids getting tired or bored. There is a nice picnic area, an obstacle course, a water play area, and a small... More

The Central Florida Zoo is a pretty cool place to visit. They have some pretty interesting animals, some of which I hadn't actually seen before. The exhibits for the animals were good sized and well put together. I really loved the vegetation throughout the zoo and found that it made the zoo quite scenic. This is a pretty nice zoo... More

Took my daughters and grandkids here. they loved it. My one dissatisfaction was that they did not have electric carts or wheelchairs available. It limited this vet from doing more with my family.

We visited the zoo in October. The weather was perfect and we loved that the zoo wasn't overcrowded like every other central FL attraction. Yes, it is small and there aren't many animals but younger kiddos don't mind that at all. We got to feed a giraffe (for a reasonable fee), see a venomous snake presentation, and fed and pet... More

Me, myself and I decided to visit the CFZ! A good day due to the overcast and slightly below temps for November. A cute little zoo with wandering walkways. You get the feeling you are going to miss something, but you will find it all comes together and you won't miss a thing. I made a 2nd time around and... More

Visited the zoo today and enjoyed the animals that all seemed to be moving about because of the cooler temperatures. The baby monkeys were the most active and fun to watch. We look forward to the black bears coming. Hope that will be soon.
