Went there on a cloudy, cooler day. Perfect... crowds were down, able to drive on Periwinkle without bumper to bumper traffic. Found a parking spot... Expensive... $ 5.00 a hour plus $6.00 to cross bridge. Nice clean, bathrooms, changing rooms. Swing, play area for kids....More

Loved this beach! Good parking. Changing stations available, water to rinse off after swimming. Beautiful! Shelling was phenomenal! Would love to see umbrellas available to rent for use- my only complaint😁

We've been to scores of beaches all over the US and outside the US. Bowman's is one of our absolute favorite beaches anywhere. It includes lots of parking (though it still can fill up fast) and the beach is huge. There is plenty of room...More

The entire Sanibel Island out beach is fantastic! Second best beach I've even been on (next to Turks and Caicos). Soft, cool sand, Trillions of shells, and fantastic views. A must walk place to exfoliate the feet and feed the soul.

Amazingly frustrated, We drove an hour to get to this beach. I parked. All parking is paid parking. Because I was going to the beach I did not bring my purse, I just brought one credit card and I had researched ahead of time to...More

Bowmans Beach is a very nice, natural beach - no high rises or homes near it. The water is clean and a bit cooler than the other beaches we have gone to - maybe because of its location on the island.. It does have showers,...More

My husband and I love Bowman's Beach. A little surf so there are waves to jump over if you want to go in the water, great shelling and nice amenities (showers and bathrooms). Beach itself is pretty and clean and you can often see dolphins.

I did not see anywhere to rent those things. that does not mean they are not there, but I don't think so. Everyone I saw was dragging their own "stuff"
