Definitely stop here even if you have two hours. Fun for all ages. We didn't camp but paid the $6.00 entrance fee to take a quick view of the park on two separate occasions this week. The wildlife you see is really unbelievable. The photo opportunities are truly a dream. The bird sanctuary was different each time we went there.... More

We visited here, a couple days in a row, and saw a multitude of wildlife, and beautiful scenery. The sunsets, viewed from the birdwalk pier, were unbelievable. $6 park entry fee was very reasonable. Campground facilities are also available. We had an enjoyable visit, and left with several cool photos of things we've never seen, before...at least in our home... More

We have been here numerous times and usually visit when we are in Sarasota. We always see plenty of gators, vultures and all types of birds. There are a few camping sites and a treetop walkway. I enjoy watching the sunset at the bird lookout point, depending on the day it can be spectacular. We have seen many Sandhill cranes... More

We stopped at the visitor center and watched several films prior to walking trails, and then walked the nature trail, the canopy walkway, and the bird trail. The park is large, so it works... More

Beautiful State Park. Have been here over Christmas the last three years. So much to see. If you are a nature and bird lover, this is the place for you. We took the scenic tracker/tram ride, which was very educational and fun. The alligators always make a great photo opportunity. So much to do and see in one day. Many... More
