Very inexpensive ($6 per car to get into park and $14 pp for boat ride) and Capt.Dick was a great tour guide. Very educational and we had a great time ! Would def recommend for families with kids

I’ve been to Myakka a few times over the years, and have enjoyed myself each time! First off, it’s amazing to see the wildlife up close, especially the gators. They were out in full force all over the park and it was fun to watch...More

We had a great time visiting the park. We started with the boat tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We saw lots of wildlife including alligators and many birds. We hiked out on the bird boardwalk for a nice view of the lake....More

A short drive from Siesta Key, the park is a great place to visit. Hike or sight see and do take the air boat tour. The pilot is great and you will likely see alligators, heron and hawks. The boat is large and slow, but...More

A lovely place to visit with an old air boat to take you out onto the lake to see the alligators. There are some lovely walks and it has a canopy walk way and tower. It has such a huge variety of bird life.

If you are thinking of taking a boat ride than get your tickets first. They tend to fill up quickly, so depending on your time slot you could decide on whether to eat before it after. They also have a nice gift shop to walk...More

Even though area was flooded we had a great time. Saw armadillos, rabbit and deer. Enjoyed meeting other campers and sharing camping with trailers and RV experiences.

I come here every few years to the campground, one of the few that offer sewer at your campsite which is a plus. There is plenty of wildlife to view, plenty of trails, bike riding on paved road or dirt. They have a gift shop,...More

A great spot to see the wild side of Florida. You’re always going to see alligators, they’re everywhere. There are guided boat tours around the lake. Amazing Nice walking trails. Bicycles are for rent. Camping areas too. Gift shop.

To visit Deep Hole, you need a free wilderness permit from the ranger station. First come, first served. The gates open at 8 a.m. it is something to see worth getting one. They only allow 30 permits per day! Hope that helps

We saw a scooter for a handicapped person, but my sense is that a golf cart would not work. You would have to be mobile to enter the boat tour and the walk. Suggest you check with park services for handicap access.
