Some nice... More

You could spend all day at St. Armands Circle. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and many interesting boutique shops and art galleries.

Loved this area and found the variety of shops and places to eat & drink very extensive. We stayed 3 mins walk from here so very convenient and nice to have a Starbucks so close!

As if it wasn't beautiful enough , the annual lighting of the Christmas tree was stunning .Santa arrives on a motorized sleigh to a crowd of thousands packed with local celebrities .Everyone is in shorts as the palm trees sway in the breeze .Everyone is dining all fresco or visiting the exclusive shops .As the sun sets, it ignites the... This is always a must stop when we visit beautiful Sarasota. We love the variety of shops with their unique offerings. The only thing is that many of the shops have very pricey items that are not in a "normal" budget. It is still fun to visit and a great place to grab some yummy food while sitting outside watching... Stayed within walking distance of 'The Circle' and visited a few times during our 5 night stay. Nice clean area with some nice 'local' shops. Great for people watching when sat at the sidewalk tables. Not sure the Americans have got use to roundabouts yet though !!

Our day trip visiting Siesta Keys and Sarasota/Bradenton included a lunch at the Columbia of St Armand's Circle. Enjoyed the zesty and fresh flavored of the 'famous' 1929 Salad! Yummy!! This area has everything anyone would want! Shopping, restaurants and of course people watching! Great place to spend a day or a vacation!
