Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The house is fascinating inside and out as the story of the Ringlings who lived there. The admission fee is high (must be a thing in Florida, everywhere seems to have high fees), but the tour and the grounds which includes 2 museums is worth it. If only they served tea on the terrace... More

A circus owners idea of the high life no doubt! The outside is better than the inside which is full of ridiculous furnishings of someone with bad taste. Not worth the entrance fee.

This villa is a really interesting Venetian-influenced spot with timed tours (which helps manage crowds), and lots of heirlooms and antiques (more interesting than that sentence sounds.

I've taken this house tour several times with everyone who comes to visit. It's an amazing house and a fun and informative tour. The grounds are beautiful and the patio on the water is breath taking.

The grounds are breath taking! The mansion sits over looking Sarasota Bay. When you see the opulence of the first floor you will see a time that will never come again. The outside of the house is just as gorgeous. John Ringling had a vision and you will see it!! Take your time and linger on the patio. Beautiful walkway.... More

The views from the terrace are breathtaking. You can walk around the campus and not visit the museums or the mansion for free.

We just paid the extra $10 to tour the first floor of this residence. You were given a time when you bought your ticket, and then you had to line up within the following hour to wait your turn to be let in. We spoke to one of the employees in there, and she said that when she was young,... More

The Mansion is interesting at every time of year, but is especially wonderful when it's all decked up for Christmas.

My husband and I enjoyed taking a docent-guided tour of the 1st and 2nd floors of Ca'd'Zan with friends visiting from Ocala. We learned interesting information about John and Mable Ringling and their extravagant llifestyle. In the past, I have taken the all-floors tour as well, and it's worth doing as well.

We took the combo tour to get the full experience. It was wonderful. This allowed us to see all of the levels of the mansion which was worth it! The docents were all very knowledgeable and each tour started promptly at the scheduled time. The grounds are lovely too.
