This is great place to get your exercise in, with plenty of trails that are flat or you can climb a variety of transitions that make for a great lower body workout.

This is by far the closest place to actually climb a hill and get a way from the traffic in SRQ. Overall very pleasant to walk around

It seems to be the perfect getaway from the busy downtown Sarasota. It has a large walking trail that is well used. Great place to see all sorts of birds.

Now known as one of Sarasota's BEST Bird Watching sites, I finally made it out there recently and was SOOOO impressed, not only with all the birds I saw, but alligators too, and the view from the top of the HILL was magnificent at sunset......More

This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I had planned to visit the boardwalks and to speak with the docents on our own, but instead, our timing was perfect in that we joined a Sarasota county speaker who brought us to one of...More

We left the Big Cat Sanctuary and took a lunch we had packed and walked to the top of the “hill.” A lovely breeze and view. We would have walked more, but we had to get home. The birds and butterflies were all around us....More

We visited the Celery Fields earlier this week, because we needed some exercise after relaxing on the beach for a few days in a row. The climb for the little hill (80 foot elevation) was relatively easy, and you can loop the top of the...More

Our family stopped here before 8 one weekday morning. That was an excellent time to arrive as there were very few people around and the birds were still active (both out in the mudflats and at the feeders). An Audubon society naturalist came on duty...More

We have seen powered scooters there a few times, but it really depends on the weather. The trails can get pretty wet after a storm.

I would say about 80 feet. Not too difficult to walk up, and the walking trail follows the perimeter of the hill, providing good views of the whole area.
