Big and beautiful. Soft white sand.

As long as there is no red tide, it is a wonderful place. Brilliantly white, soft sand. Beautiful caribbean water colors. Only drawback - difficult to find public toilets.

We went early in the morning and was a wonderful walk with low tide and found some wonderful small full shells to make jewelry with.

Just sit on the beach and relax! Plenty of space to spread out. Great for walks and dolphin watching.

It was a great beach for long walks. Firm hard sand. Running shoes or beach shoes necessary since there a lot of small shells on the beach.

Just a bit down the road from Siesta beach is crescent beach. equally as beautiful but not nearly as crowded. it doesn't offer the amenities of Siesta but for those staying in nearby cottages is a great way to spend the day.

This is great beach for sun run sunsets and lounging around. There is public beach access but staying at a property on the beach usually gets you a pool as well. Water a bit cool in December but much better than Michigan snow.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Florida I guess, with transparent water, sand like flour, dolphins, opportunities to paddle, kayak, snorkeling etc.

have walked the long present beach on Siesta Key, Sarasota Florida on my visits. The sand is amazing, like sugar and the beach has been named #1 in the country because of its beauty. Recently expanded parking and new facilities and snack bar were a great improvement. Be sure you come early as the parking fills in high season. There... More

Every time I walk on the white sugar sand I am reminded what a jewel we have in North America. I have traveled to the Caribbean Islands and beaches in Europe which do not compare to Crescent Beach. The public beach has been refurbished and is very nice also. Also there are more parking spaces than previously which is a... More

Beautiful white sand, like talcum powder and cool to the touch in the intense sunshine due to the high percentage of crystal quartz. Dolphins can often be seen leaping in the sea, and plenty of various birds and people fishing or surfing. What a beautiful place.
