Siesta Beach is beautiful, I was taken aback by the beauty! I just don't prefer crowded noisy beaches, and it was just that. More of a tourist trap than a peaceful getaway.

This is the must see of anyone who is traveling to the west coast of Florida. There is a reason why this beach is well known and it is because it is so beautiful and well maintained. There are life-guard stations spread out around the beach, so that is a plus. The water is (usually) clear and you are able... More

My favorite beach ever. The sand is beautiful and white and the water is calm and a pretty blue-green. We had such a relaxing beach-going experience!

Beautiful sand, nice and open. But beware of the no-see-ums! My wife was mauled. You don't realize until it's too late, hours later. She was in agony. The bits are worse than mosquitos and last more than a week.

Had to visit since it was named the #1 beach in the US. The sand is powder soft and the water and very clear but not sure what makes it #1. Enjoyed my visit

Got an email about top beaches in the world and this one was in my email so we decided to test that list to see if it was true. Well it's true. This beach is awesome. We found tons of sand dollars and had so much room to play football and catch a baseball. Fun for all ages.

We found the beach to be needing some work after the recent rains. However, the sunset was simply beautiful and we even got to see a morning rainbow!

You just have to experience this piece of Paradise!! The white, powdery sand is 99% Quartz which gives it a baby-powder feel and keeps it cool even on the hottest days. It is simply magnificent! The beach is wide and spacious. The pavilion and facilities are brand new (rebuilt). The parking lot has been greatly expanded and remains FREE! There... More
