Since the beach renourishment in early 2016 this beach is great. Most areas are 150 ft. or more in depth. Great place to enjoy the gulf and get some sun.

Don't get me wrong, Siesta Key Beach is beautiful with its huge football field of white Quartz sand and shallow, blue Gulf waters!. However, that long distance from the parking area to the water is also a long walk with beach chairs and other paraphernalia or kids! That's what made us try Turtle Beach. It is a narrower beach than... More

for all the one star reviews, you are clueless, the water is the same as siesta key, the sand is not the same big deal anyone that gives this beach 1,2,3 stars don't have a clue and are very dumb, to think the water at siesta is not the same, the beach is very clean, plus the boat ramp is... More

Was awesome! Sand is not as white or soft as flour but is very nice indeed! The water color is very pleasant! Beautiful! There are restrooms close and a shower foot wash off area! This is a relaxed settings and away from a bit of hustle and bustle. Will be going here again in future for sure!!!

Unlike the beautiful Siesta beach, this beach is nothing special, no soft white sand. Skip this one and focus on Siesta beach. If you want to go someplace with fewer people, try South Lido park north of Siesta beach, it has beautiful white sand, shallow water and few people go there. (no swimming through)

Nice beach with plenty of shells. Sand is coarser than Crescent beach but if it's shells you want, they have it.

We spent and hour or so just sitting, chatting with other beach-goers and shelling. Clean, quiet and relaxing.

Our favourite beach on the Key. Fantastic sunsets and easy to find parking. A short walk to three great restaurants - Turtles, Turtle Beach Pub, and Ophelia's

We were able to get a parking spot in the adjacent lot and then headed to the beach for our front row set. Turtle beach is a fantastic place to see the sun set. Would have been nice to have a blanket or chairs but the sand is such that it wasn't necessary.
