The entire southwest coastline is experiencing the worst red tide in history. Red tide is EXTREME on Turtle Beach, whereas on Siesta Beach, just a couple of miles north, the bulldozers clean up the dead sea creatures on a daily basis. I was on both...More

Imagine going to Orlando and all the theme parks are shut down. Or, picture yourself visiting New York City only to be told Manhattan is off limits. This is Siesta Key. The beaches are shut down over this issue with no end in sight. Red...More

I like it. More natural looking. Good fishing from the shore. The sand is not as soft and white as the siesta key public beach, and it is hotter. It’s not the best sand for families with small children etc. however I still go every...More

The beach is less crowded than Siesta Key public beach. The sand isn't like Siesta Public Beack it isn't as fine. Was nice to get away from crowds. Good place to view a sunset.

Loved this beach with natural vegetation. The sand is a bit rougher than Siesta Key but still really pretty and lots of space to spread out. A lot of free parking too.

Free parking but get there early. Water was great. No red tide or dead fish. You will find plenty of shells. Brought lunch and beach chairs and relaxed. Even with lots of families there, it was a quiet and enjoyable beach.
