Was pleasantly surprised that my teenage daughter and I would enjoy this. The glass bottom boat trip was both educational and beautiful. Saw lots of wildlife The park is really kept up nicely. The food at the restaurant was decent and not costly. We even went to the water park nearby and while it mostly caters to the young under... More

A car-load is only $8 for entrance and you can also buy tickets for the glass bottom boat rides (SD = Seniors Discount), half hour is $11 (SD $10) and 90-minute is $25 (SD $20) plus tax. We did not have time to do the 90-minute but absolutely loved the 30 minute. We walked one side of the park and... More

I saw this place in a travel guide but didnt think much of it, thought it would be outdated, old fashioned but decided to go anyway to try something new in Florida, away from the usual Orlando-Miami touristy places.... What a wonderful surprise! The glass bottom boat ride is wonderful, the whole area is beautiful but the best of all... More

Our vacation started with Silver Springs! The glass bottom boat ride is awesome. The water is as clear as the air, a chilly 72* year 'round but you can kayak or canoe if you're inclined. The scenery is breathtaking! They have educational rooms with continuous videos that tell about Silver Springs and its wildlife and water conservation. For families there... More

Years ago this park was a gem, and an enjoyable place to visit. As the years passed subsequent owners became more and more greedy. $9.00 to park you car at the last. Maintenance dropped to almost none. No wonder people started to stay away in droves. Now that the state has taken over and denuded the place of any personality,... More

I visited here as a child and was pleased to be able to bring my daughter to ride the glass bottom boats. She was so thrilled with the whole park. It is interesting to see the old ticket booths left from the theme park that used to be there. The food looked kind of iffy so we skipped it but... More

The last time I was at Silver Springs was 30 years ago. It was privately owned at that time, now state owned. The glass bottom boats are still there and as good as ever. I remember there use to be more than now. What they have are the glass bottom boats, and walking trails, plus canoe and kayak rentals. Wild... More

This is a fantastic family friendly location. We were here on our honeymoon in July 76! Yikes it is just as it was back then Friendly people saw wonderful wildlife fish, turtles alligator and of course springs. Food available and clean restrooms. Discounts for Seniors. We visited the springs but there is a water park available separate from the springs.
