    Short wait time on rides
I visited the park on a Friday. Most rides only had a 5 min wait. The park got busy after 4pm with a wait around 10 minutes. I loved all the rollercoasters. Iron Gwazi was by far my favorite ride (and scariest). Annoyed that you have to rent a locker for $10 day. Most parks in the UK have bag storage on the ride platform. There are lockers located near each ride but you need to remember your code each time you move your locker location to another area of the park. It was a hot and humid day but there are large fans located around the park and usually a fan as you queue for the ride. There is free water availabe at most restroom locations. I thought my day ticket was good value and would return on a weekday as the queues were so short.

Great park, great value, just not sure of their commitment to actually operating a 21st century park.
Very impressive with minor annoyances. First a great park, but if you're looking for the worldwide entertainment giant this is not it. What you get is a reasonably sized park, at a reasonable price with great rides, educational wild life information. And the nicest and helpful stuff we've met at theme parks (except one. More later on that). So the staff is absolutely great, friendly, helpful and there when you need them. Two trips this time and great rides, great experiences but for the one downside. I admit it's bugging me. In the Sesame Street Safari a woman was smoking in line with the kids. I asked her, she refused in verbose a personally insulting language. When I told the ride operator, he said there was nothing he could do.

    Good experience
We Love Busch Gardens! My family and I travel to Busch Gardens twice a year. My kids love all the roller coasters. The food could use some improvement but we always have a great time and they keep the grounds clean for the most part.

    Great day out
Visited on a weekday, got there early and managed to get on all the big rides within the first hour or so (don’t recommend!!). So we then were able to wander and see all the animal enclosures and had lunch before rides again! Have seen some negative reviews which was a worry but we had a great day out! Slightly annoying to have to pay so much for parking and also lockers.

    Lions, Tigers and Exceptional Staff
Perfect weather, we did several "close up" experiences and were impressed with the knowledge level and presentation skills of the staff. Everyone was very nice to us but we were particularly impressed with Jomary at the Serengeti Safari. We asked about one of the past giraffes (Dolley) and she gave us a real education about the animals. Went out of her way to find some information for us, but most importantly, was kind to my wife. Without people like this, you have no business. Looking forward to returning.

A Good Park, But a bit of a drive to get there
I got the tickets for this attraction as part of my Discovery Cove Package It is worth noting that the attraction is cashless. With this, I offer a warning.. If you are spending cash from a purse or wallet, you know what you have spent throughout the day. The attraction charges for lockers, and all sorts of little add ons to make its money There were a number of rides out of service during the time of the visit. Some good rides for the adrenalin junky

    Theme Park Meets Zoo
We went on a chillier weekday and the park was nearly empty. The longest we waited was 40 minutes for Iron Gwazi. Everything else was 5 minutes or less. Most of the concessions and game booths were closed, I’m guessing due to the low attendance. It was almost eerie since it was so empty. Most of the big rollercoasters were fun but a little bumpy. Decor was a little dated but nice to see a change in design depending on the region. The animals are so fun to watch. It’s similar to a zoo exhibit or Animal Kingdom at Disney. The train ride takes about 20 minutes for the smaller loop and most of the animals were out. The biggest downside to our time was how expensive the food was. $17-20 per entree (not including drinks)! They do have some combo meals but they aren’t a great deal either. Overall, we had a good time and enjoyed the animals a lot.

    Great experience
Im not sure why there are so many comments about people saying they had a bad experience. I went and it was great! The only downside is some of the rides were closed, but there were still enough rides open to have a great time. We waited no longer than 10 minutes to get on each ride and it was easy getting into the park with no lines. We ended up paying extra to feed the giraffes and it was worth it! Entry to the park might be pricey but if you get the Tampa City Pass it makes the entry so much more affordable! To save some money you can bring lunch with you and leave it in the car, you are allowed to exit the park and come back in as they will give you a stamp. The animal enclosures were also great, the animals look to have great living conditions and seem to be happy.

    Was a good day!
We are a family of 4 (2 teens), and spent the day at Busch Gardens on December 30, 2023. It was a good visit and we were there from opening until close. It was a beautiful, sunny day but boy was it chilly. The park was extremely busy. 2+ hour waits for roller coasters no matter what time of day it was. The express pass was insanely priced so that wasn't an option. If you can go on a less busy day, I would highly advise it. It would be awesome if Busch Gardens would try single rider lines. Try to see the animals during the morning portion of your day. They were out and very active, lots of great viewing earlier in the day compared to the afternoon. Park was beautifully decorated for Christmas season. We just loved the Christmas Town decorations and the lights were amazing. Highly recommend checking it out. The shows were also really great. The train was a lot of fun and the decorations added to the ambiance. The food surprisingly was better than fair. We bought our tickets with the all day dining during a online Black Friday sale and it was definitely worth it. Only thing is because the park was at capacity it was impossible to find seating to eat. Had to sit on a wall with trays balanced on our laps. We were lucky that there were fireworks that evening and they were a great way to end the day. I do think the park is a bit understaffed, especially during such a busy time of year.

Slow day at the park. It had multiple rides.
Great time of the park, small crowds. Some things need attention like lost and found. The windows are dirty and need maintenance attention. I don’t want to fall apart. The closed window pictures are at lost and found and look like the park has been closed for 20 years. Thank you Dawn for finding our hat at lost and found from the Pantera theater.

This was our first time visit since COVID-19 closures. I went to the park today since they refused to refund my fun card and they said they are not giving back refunds, but extended the days that the park was closed. There is a 30 min line to wait for the tram rides since they are less people on the tram. We decided to walk to the park which we were surprised to see a line getting closer to the park. There was a line outside the park about 1 to 2 hour wait. You get to a tent were they are taking temperatures and there is no person taking temperatures in the tent.

When you are waiting in line, people are not 6 feet apart and some people are not wearing masks or mask are hanging below the nose or chin. There is another line through security and scanning passes which took about 30 mins. Once I had my card scanned they mention that he had been cancelled and that I had to go back to guest services. They had sent me a new credit card in the mail which the one they had on file was expired. I had to go back to guest services and make a line which took about 30 mins. I explained to guest services that I had made a line already to the manager named William at the ticket entrance. He mention that I still had to go back and make another line to check in.

I asked that I wanted to cancel my funcard and get a refund. He denied my request because he said that I signed a contract that they cannot give me a refund. Yes, I understand that I sign a contract but I didnt sign up for all these changes in the services and being exposed to COVID. There customer service is awful and do not care for their customers. I will not buy any more passes from busch gardens and I do not recommend any one buying any tickets or passes from busch gardents.

Do not visit here if you are worried about COVID. I thoroughly read the Busch Gardens website before visiting and decided it would be ok because they claimed to be taking all of the necessary precautions, much like Disney or any high-quality theme park. I was happy to hear that the park was running at reduced capacity with a reservation system; however, the reality is that the reservation system is a joke. The place was JAM PACKED. We offered our proof of reservation to the guy at the turnstiles who said, “What’s this?” and waved it away while letting us waltz in.

Even if they are operating at a slightly reduced capacity it didn’t matter, because several attractions and the majority of food stands were closed, forcing tremendous lines at the places that were actually open. We did not bring food into the park because I had read that it is not allowed and that bags would be checked but I sure wish we had. The only things we could manage to buy to eat all day were a pretzel for each person in our party and a bag of caramel corn. Every restaurant serving real food had an astronomical line and there were no vegetarian options. Our party consisted of two vegetarians and one diabetic so the food choices for us were abysmal.

Lines for rides were not socially distanced at all. They snaked back and forth, forcing you to stand incredibly close to others. Mask enforcement was shoddy at best. While in line for Falcon’s Fury we heard workers come over the loudspeaker dozens of times asking people in line to pull their masks up and threatening to throw them out but never acting on that threat. So people just ignored the request. At one point the guy on the loud speaker actually said, “I guess you are just ignoring me.” No one came and spoke to the non-mask wearers directly so no one cared.

The only highlight of the day was the half-hour safari tour, which we paid an extra $55 per person for. While the safari was cool the price was steep for the amount of time the safari actually takes.

Over the course of an entire day we were able to ride 5 rides. That’s how long the lines were.

Don’t waste your time or money here. Spend it at Disney instead.

First visit, took just over an hour to get there from Orlando. Park wasn’t overly busy the day we went. Lots of rides to choose from although a few were shut down that day. A few water rides to go on as well. Large and spread out zoo. Enjoyed the train ride through the park and open zoo areas. The conductor narrated the whole time and added lots of comedy while also telling us a lot of background information about the park. A few shows to pick from, the figure skating one was the only one that really appealed to us though.

We bought the food package and food was very average. Probably still better value them paying upfront for everything or it would add up to a fortune.

All in all a fun day but probably one time there was enough...feels slightly dated but is definitely cheaper and less crowded then some of the other big parks in Orlando. It’s extra good value to get tickets for it that are apart of the SeaWorld/Discovery Cove package to save even more.

I last visited Busch Gardens 15 years ago when my children were much younger. My memories were of a brilliant fun day out.

This time round I was very disappointed. I found it very expensive and not value for money. $25 to park then $200 plus entry for 2 adults, for what is a very average day out, The food offering is disappointing it’s variations on Macdonlads at every outlet or restaurant, basically you can eat junk food or more junk food!

Having said this we loved seeing the animals and it’s a beautiful park. But worth nearly $250. Definitely not!!

I'm sure the park is awesome during "normal"times...but our visit was not great. We had to purchase tickets & make reservations for the day we went online - which was fine...but we also pre-purchased our parking pass and apparently printed out the wrong part. At the gate, the boy working was very unhelpful and wanted us to go back to our hotel to print the correct part, rather than offering any customer service and looking it up.
Temp screening and masks...they are very serious about the masks. That is great for helping stop COVID, but horrible on a hot Florida day. We all had headaches from the heat within a few hours and left before 4pm ( arrival was after 10 am). To be fair, admission was discounted for the limited hours and inconvenience.
If you have a choice, wait until everything is back to normal so that you can fully enjoy the park.

I went on Thursday, 6th February 2020.
What a terrible day.
The place really is looking very very run down.
Everything is looking old and worn, inc. The toilets. The staff are grumpy. The rollercoasters do not accommodate people who are even slightly overweight. Being the US, I'd expect more. There may have been larger seats available on the ride but this should be made clear near the test seats.
There was some wind, but nothing major at all, yet they still decided to shut all the rollercoasters.
This lasted a long part of the afternoon, which I think is totally unacceptable. The workers, building the new rollercoaster were still on their cranes working, so if it was safe enough for them, the rollercoasters will have also been safe. Everyone was disappointed, you could tell just from walking around.
As you walk around, everything is chargeable, they're trying to make money in every way they can.
We arrived at 10.15am, and were gone for 3pm, because what was the point anymore...
Hundreds of dollars in the bin.
We drove 2 hours each way for this too.

The food was also absolutely terrible. We went to the BBQ/smokehouse type cafeteria - the food was of such low quality, and 20 dollars each, on average.

The only positive was the animals area, especially the birds area, was quite good.

What a huge disappointment the day has been. I will not be coming again.

It's not worth going to busch gardens during the covid-19 pandemic. The lines are from 1 to 2 hours of wait time because they keep leaving more than half the rides empty due to social distancing and most of the rides are closed due to maintenance. The park is also closing at 6pm leaving you with little time to ride the rides especially all of them. They charge over $105 per ticket to wait in lines in the burning sun for 2 or 3 rides. I had a horrible experience I wont come back till this pandemic issue is resolved.

There were parts of this park I enjoyed but mostly I was happy when the visit was over, to be fair we went on a crazy busy day. Not sure why it was but it was. There are no staff to ask questions of. We had purchased a city pass and no one could tell us what line to get in all lines were extremely long. Once you enter the park you can’t leave and come back so you have to Carry food in or purchase there and the food we had sucked for lack of better words. I really enjoyed feeding the lorikeets however you have to purchase this as an added expense. The park layout we found confusing and the lines for anything were so long that you wasted half your day in line. Not my idea of a fun day. They need more staff, better food options, etc, etc.. we would not return again for a lot of reasons. It was an expensive experience. Maybe I was let down because I am a Disney girl and people this is nothing like Disney. Glad we didn’t have the kids with us as you could easily been out a lot more money for games, treats, etc

Was a bit disappointed. Due to COVID-19, there were no haunted houses. We knew this going there, but without the houses the lines to the coasters were anywhere from 60 to 90 to 120 minutes long. No social distancing at all, people in line right up your butt. Some people not even wearing masks. To top it off, lots of rain. They say only a certain amount of people are allowed to enter. But if your there during the day, you can pay extra to stay that night. So imagine an extra couple thousand of people on top on the ones who already made reservations. Never again

We are here during Christmas break. It is horribly and unsafely crowded. No one wiping down tables or surfaces. Lines of people are wrapped around rides and for food and people crowded together. We stood in line for half hour for food and finally just got out of line—we were only half way through the cue. we had to buy front of line passes for our kids just so the trip wasn’t a total disappointment b/c ride wait times at over 90 min. Busch Gardens should be ashamed at their greed and totally ignoring covid precautions like wiping surfaces and not overcrowding. This park is not equipped for the crowd that is here today. Horrible
