Good overview of history of the area and the cigar industry. The ranger explains the history and you visit a casita where workers lived.

For $4 each person my husband and I enjoyed the history behind the creation of Ybor City. We actually enjoyed a 20 minute video before a self-guided tour with a follow-up of viewing of housing from the early 1900's. Our guide was exceptional and we...More

The Ybor City State Museum was fantastic. $4.00 per person entry. Tour guide was helpful, informative. Visited an actual casito, a home to cigar roller employees. The museum includes a great video of history.

Very small museum, but if interested in the history of the area, worth the stop. Admission includes a guided tour of a typical small house of the day. Area full of roosters and chickens.
