The compound was larger and had more big cats than I expected. 67 acres with many well-designed enclosures. I learned a lot about wildlife conservation.

All children on a tour must have a ticket and there are only tours for kids under 10 on weekends or private tours. Kids under 5 must be held, kept in a stroller or the parents must hold their hand for the full one hour... More

They have one tour that allows children. Your best bet is to call them. If you go to bigcatrescue org/tickets, you can see your options including the one with kids permitted. They can clarify if you call.

The one we like the best is the 9 AM Sat feeders tour. You get to see all the cats awake, looking to be fed and watching the caretakers feed them. It really is awesome.
